Fortnite’s DC Universe will become even more extended later this year when it adds Joker and Poison Ivy skins to the game via the Last Laugh bundle.

Let’s take a break from talking about the companies Fortnite is at war with right now, and focus on the ones that continue to make beautiful music with the game: comic books. Marvel and DC both have ongoing relationships with Epic. At first, it felt as if the rival superhero franchises were taking it in turns to add to Fortnite. Now the two relationships have become intertwined.

In Season 2, Deadpool took up residence on the island. Even though he was replaced by DC’s Aquaman when Season 2 became Season 3, Captain America has also joined the action this season. Harley Quinn skins have also debuted during Chapter 2. Basically, if comic book fans want to see dream battles between DC and Marvel heroes and villains, Fortnite is the place to go.

That will only be furthered later this year when Joker and Poison Ivy skins become available on the Fortnite store. Epic revealed the news this weekend, letting gamers know that the two iconic DC villains will be available to buy as a part of the Last Laugh pack. The third skin included in the pack will mark the return of Midas, the evil genius who flooded Fortnite at the end of Season 2.

Although the price of the pack is yet to be revealed, it will also include 1000 V-Bucks and a bunch of other Joker/Poison Ivy/Midas Rex themed loot like back bling and pickaxes. Fortnite players have a while to wait before they can add the new DC characters to their roster, though. Epic has revealed the pack well ahead of time, and it won’t be available to buy until November 17, 2020.

Joker and Poison Ivy will join Harley Quinn, Aquaman, Catwoman, and Batman as Fortnite’s DC roster continues to grow. As for what players can do right now to get their superhero fix in Fortnite, those playing the Marvel’s Avengers beta on PS4 and Xbox One are entitled to a free Hulk Smashers pickaxe. It also comes with a Hulkbuster alternate, so definitely worth taking the time to get it for free.
