Jump Force launched last year to mixed reviews, but the game has proven popular enough that Bandai Namco has continued to release new content for it on a regular basis. And now Nintendo Switch owners will get the chance to try the game out, as Bandai Namco has confirmed that Jump Force is coming to Nintendo’s handheld/home console hybrid later this year.

A specific release date for the Jump Force Switch port is unavailable at the time of this writing, but the game is scheduled to release at some point in 2020. Touted as the Jump Force “Deluxe Edition,” this version of the game will allow for up to six players to play on a single console, with support for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 versus multiplayer. However, the biggest draw is certainly the massive character roster.

Jump Force: Deluxe Edition on Switch will launch with over 50 characters, including all the Jump Force DLC characters from the first Characters Pass. Needless to say, this should give anime fans considerable bang for their buck if they decide to pick up Jump Force on the Switch.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco also announced a Jump Force Characters Pass 2, which will also launch later this year. Jump Force Characters Pass 2 will debut with My Hero Academia’s Shoto Todoroki, and will add five new characters total to the game when it’s all said and done.

Jump Force: Deluxe Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch later in 2020.
