A popular scambaiting streamer is getting his own animated series in collaboration with G4. He goes by Kitboga on Twitch and YouTube and has been baiting scammers with his hilarious antics for several years. Kitboga is most known for wasting those pesky scammers’ time with his vast array of characters and a voice changer. His most iconic character is a grandmother known as Edna, who fools a lot of scammers into thinking he is actually an older woman.

During each of Kitboga and other well-known scam baiters streams such as Pierogi with Scammer Payback, they show how the scam unfolds and even sometimes gain access to a scammer’s computer. Most of these scammers will want to connect to your computer with remote desktop software such as AnyDesk.

They will hold a victim’s computer hostage such as changing their password or deleting files until they get money. Scammers will also lie about where they are located with most call centers located in foreign countries. Twitch has really provided streamers like Ninja and Ludwig opportunities beyond streaming such as Kitboga with his new series.

With regards to the new Kitboga animated series, it will be interesting to see how G4 plays this out. This new collaboration also gives Kitboga an even wider audience to educate people on how to avoid these scams. Ultimately that is what it comes down to, education on common avoidable scams and providing some entertainment. Microsoft recently dealt with its own version of fraud when an employee stole millions of dollars worth of Xbox gift cards.

The calls featured in the streams can last minutes to even hours to tie them up instead of going after real victims. Sometimes Kitboga and others have successfully stopped a scam in process and even gotten some victims their money back. However, this plays out fans of Kitboga and those looking for entertainment at scammers’ expense will be sure to enjoy this new take on scambaiting when it debuts soon.
