Like King Leonidas from 300, you gotta do what you gotta do. If that means foot stomping your opponent into a deep, deep hole in I Am Alive, then that’s what you’ve gotta do.
A brand new teaser trailer for I Am Alive has hit the web; watch it to learn the ins-and-outs of how to negotiate close encounters with the locals of Haventon.
In I Am Alive, gamers will be on their own in a post-apocalyptic environment full of dust and gassy fumes. Much like the film, The Road, it’s anything goes. Beyond the environmental threats lies the possibility of unpredictable encounters with survivors of the “Event.” All of the survivors adopt unique behavior based on the actions chosen by players – survivors may be friendly, or they may be quite hostile and edgy.
The official trailer for I Am Alive gave a hint of what the tone of the game is, and now this new trailer offers players a good idea of how to navigate encounters. Depending on the situation, the survivors may act differently, so all guards must be up – this is intimidation-based combat. Much like in the Metal Gear Solid games, stealth is your friend, and the less ammo you spend the better. Choose to bluff enemies or take them out quietly with a nice bow and arrow.
