The first balance patch since the introduction of Rising Tides and the official release of Legends Of Runeterra has quite a few card nerfs.

Karma’s cost both has increased from 5 to 6. This change is designed to restrict additional cards that can be played on the same turn as Karma.

Several followers and spell cards have had their costs increased as well. Stand Alone now costs 4, up from 3, Deep Meditation now costs 5, up from 4, and Brood Awakening now costs 6, up from 5

Piltover and Zaun champion Vi has had her health decreased from 5 to 4 at level one and from 6 to 5 at level 2. Hopefully, the devs explain, Vi will be less of a generalist that can be slotted into ever P&Z deck.

Several other non-champion cards have had their health nerfed as well. Both Legion Rearguard and Boomcrew Rookie lost 1 health point, down to 1 and 3 respectively.

On the buff side, Shen is getting a power increase from 2 to 3 at level 1 and 3 to 4 at level 2. The developers hope Shen sees more play now, considering he has been one of the least played Champions in the game.

Hecarim is also getting his power increased by 1 at both levels. Level 1 Hecarim now has a power level 5 and level 2 has a power level of 6, increasing his overall effectiveness.

Finally, for a limited time the Rainbow Poro Guardian and emote is completely free. Just open the store and purchase the bundle for 0 coins.
