The London Royal Ravens took to Twitter recently to announce Trei “Zer0” Morris from the New York Subliners as their newest roster addition heading into the Seattle Surge Home Series weekend. As teams look to make a push in the second half of the season, this is the second big roster shift heading into the weekend after the Chicago Huntsmen secured Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson from the Florida Mutineers.

Zer0 started out with the New York Subliners at the start of the inaugural season of the Call of Duty League. The Subliners were touted as one of the top teams in the league to kick things off but struggled early to get any momentum. They lacked a team synergy needed to become a force in the league. Finding themselves nearly at the bottom of the standings, New York benched Zer0 heading into the Los Angeles weekend in early March. He hasn’t played since and while the Subliners have improved, they still find themselves 11th in the standings.

Unlike New York, the London Royal Ravens found some decent success in the beginning even beating the Subliners 3-0 to kick off their season. They looked like one of the better teams in the league but have cooled off considerably since. The Royal Ravens currently sit in eight place in the league standings.

This seems like a good move for all parties involved as the Subliners seemed set on their decision to keep Zer0 out of the starting lineup. The Royal Ravens could use a boost in whatever way and having Zer0 come into the team might be a new environment for him to thrive in. It will be interesting to see how he performs over the weekend depending on how much he is utilized.
