May is (finally) over, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons is ushering in the new month with a matrimonial event that will run from June 1st until the 30th. Wedding season encourages players to return to Harv’s Island, this time to help out happy couple Reese and Cyrus, two alpacas who lay on the cheese pretty thick (get a room, you two!)
After travelling to Harv’s Island, players are tasked with helping the couple strengthen their bond by taking a series of anniversary photos. Players can return to the island throughout the month to take a new photo of the pair each day, rearranging furniture to match each day’s theme.
Love may not cost a thing, but it does have a lot of benefits. If Reese is a fan of the photos players take, she will reward players with wedding-themed furniture and Heart Crystals, a new event currency that will allow players to unlock more matrimonial items.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ wedding season will run throughout June, 2020, so be sure to check out Harv’s Island and meet the happy couple if you want to get your paws on some wedding items.
