To recap
Take one useful, sensible premium SUV, chop the roofline down to make it look sportier, then borrow some coupe rear lights, delete a rear seat, et voila, you’ve an SUV-coupe. There’s plenty to like about the Mercedes GLC Coupe, but it’s not that much fun to drive and costs £3000 more than the more useful, identical to drive GLC SUV. We’d buy that — or a Porsche Macan — instead if we wanted something sporty but high-riding.
