10 Attack On New York City
Due to the 9/11 attack in New York City, the ending to Metal Gear Solid 2 had to be changed at the last minute. This means that footage and or documents of said ending can be found online like on Unseen64. The original plot had Arsenal Gear plow through downtown NYC, destroying the Statue of Liberty in the process. While it didn’t have towers crumbling down, having an attack in NYC was still eerily too similar for what would become a November 2001 launch.
