Many of the achievements and trophies in Metal Gear Survive seem to reward players simply for playing the game, as opposed to going out of their way to complete ridiculous tasks. They also give us some insight into the game and just how much content it is bringing to the table.
While Metal Gear Survive is definitely built with co-op in mind, the game also reportedly has a dense single player experience. Based on the achievements and trophies, it does seem as though solo players will have a lot to do in Metal Gear Survive. The achievements/trophies reveal that there are at least two maps for players to explore, in addition to a number of people to recruit, items to craft, and more.
It definitely seems as though Metal Gear Survive is delivering a lot of content, but the question remains if that content will be worthwhile. There are no professional critic reviews available for Metal Gear Survive at the time of this writing, and so it’s hard to tell how it is being received. We know that the game was harshly criticized before launch, but perhaps the various betas have convinced some fans to give the controversial spinoff a chance.
Metal Gear Survive is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
