Minecraft Marketplace is the ultimate go-to for console players when it comes to downloading maps and textures. Creators go through a tough selection process to determine if their resource packs will appeal to the fans.

The marketplace has plenty of underrated gems, and decent packs are often overlooked by crafters because of the consensus that the Java Edition is superior. But that isn’t always the case since Bedrock Edition is more optimized to run these packs better because these are official handpicked selections.

The adventure begins with you in a small tower, but soon enough, an earthquake erupts, shaking your screen and destroying the structure. Now you must rush to the nearby village and help them rebuild a more resilient town.

The game has a nice welcome lobby that tells you a little about natural disasters and how to react to them. You can even set monsters on and off to alter the difficulty of your experience. With voice acting and helpful objective reminders, a lot of detail has been put into this beautiful map.

You are given large screens to interact with that allow you to see what’s currently popular. Then, you’ll be able to start creating your own Minecraft skins, spawn points, and more. Your goal is simple: earn as much as possible.

A lot of detail has been put into this map, yet it’s still completely free. You can set your difficulty and jump right in. You’ll be a huge success, building up your business in no time. As you grow, you’ll be able to hire employees to help you with your projects too. Also, be sure to take a nap at some point in the game to venture into a strange dream world to inspire your next idea.

11 Parkour School

The Parkour School map does exactly what you think it does: it allows you to practice and hone your parkour skills. However, Parkour School is so much more than this.

It has fifteen unique levels that are all different difficulties, so you don’t need to worry about it being too hard or too easy. There are new skins available, and the creators have even gone through the effort of creating some beautiful music to listen to while you jump and crouch your way to the finish line. This amazing map was created by Vertexcubed.

10 10 Years Of Minecraft

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Minecraft, Blockworks released this tribute map wherein you ride a minecart throughout this museum of updates and features from Classic all the way to Bedrock. There are also secrets and references hidden within the map.

It is amazing to see how Minecraft evolved from just a simple game to the worldwide phenomenon it is now. It had its ups and downs but ultimately Minecraft will never die and judging from the current world records, it seems that no title can overtake it in terms of being the most successful video game of all time.

9 Papercraft 2: City Project

Designed by Jigarbov Productions, this map features a detailed city with 2D textures for vehicles and mobs like real papercraft. Your objective is to collect stickers around the world while attempting quests or flying paper planes.

The map is not linear, so you can find all stickers however you want. The 2D skin also looks weird, but in a good way. Some quests have bosses while others require tricky puzzle solving.

8 Terra Swoop Force

Created by Noxcrew, Terra Swoop Force is an Elytra adventure map featuring explosive cave action and fully-voiced characters. You’re tasked to find scientists after a drilling accident left them stranded at the center of the earth. Literally the core of the world.

7 Rainbow Park

Out of all theme park maps on the Minecraft Marketplace, Rainbow Park is the most complete because it features fully functioning rides including three roller coasters (one running two minutes long), a Ferris wheel, a drop tower, and a weird sheep magic show, among other attractions.

There are also mini-games for you to win “rainbow bucks” which you can exchange for prizes. It is a massive map and for the price of only 660 coins, it’s a great deal.

If vanilla Minecraft isn’t enough, this free map features detailed farming mechanics in addition to upgradeable tractors and harvesters. There are also over 50 trees and crops for you to grow, as well as new mobs to breed.

Poop-cleaning is also part of the adventure, but the main goal here is to earn a boatload of money and be the richest farmer in the world. That means that you’ll have to go back and forth selling at the market stalls. It is complicated in the beginning because there aren’t any instructions for the hoes, nozzles, and attachments, but it gets easier once you get the hang of it.

5 Caverns Of Chaos

Developed by Minecraft’s very own 4J Studios, this dungeon crawler map puts you in a ravaged town overrun by monsters and pillagers. The villagers then call on you to save their fellow villagers who are trapped inside the cavern.

That’s when the real challenge starts as you’re given the task to clear the whole dangerous cave. There are five dungeon levels, three boss battles, and ten villagers to rescue in this maze of traps.

4 Scariest Map Ever

Developed by Sapphire Studios, Scariest Map Ever is a decent horror pack that pits you against a Slender-like monster. The objective: escape the nightmare. The map is similar to a slasher film in that you’re only armed with twigs and some weak weapons occasionally.

It is recommended to increase the volume to full as the audio hints are crucial to surviving the night. Don’t let the simple name fool you, running through the level won’t be a cakewalk. It is one of the creepiest Minecraft maps out there.

3 Ancient Egypt

This impressive map by Fall Studios is available for free and features an educational tour through the vast Egyptian desert. Each of its pyramids can be dug or blown up, and there are plenty of treasures waiting to be looted (mostly enchanted gold).
