Minecraft Dungeons has a lot of content, especially with its procedurally generated dungeons. Fans will find a bunch of things to do after defeating the evil Illager and beating the game for the first time.
There are hidden levels in Minecraft Dungeons, a plethora of gear to farm for, and even more difficult modes to replay the game on. Minecraft Dungeons is filled to the brim with content, and it will only grow with future updates, as the developers will be adding game post-game content throughout the game’s lifecycle.
10 Play Adventure Mode
Adventure Mode is the next mode in line once players complete the standard story of the game. Minecraft Dungeons isn’t very difficult on the default difficulty, however, when players crank it up to the Adventure Mode, they will get a challenge that they may not have expected.
This mode is only unlocked once players complete the final level on the base difficulty, and this new difficulty allows players to unlock even more powerful equipment and fight more difficult mobs. Adventure Mode is the perfect experience for a player that has just beaten the story mode for the first time.
9 Farm For Emeralds
Farming for emeralds can be a tedious task, but fans can make it fun by playing a different level every time they are farming. Rotating through the different dungeons and playing on the lower difficulties will make it a breeze to farm emeralds, which players can then use to buy gear and artifacts.
It doesn’t take too long to farm a large number of emeralds, and players will realize that after having beaten the base game because they will have a ton of emeralds leftover from their first playthrough.
8 Reach The Max Level of 55
The max level in Minecraft Dungeon dungeons is currently 55. This is much higher of a level than players should be when they finish the story mode for the first time, and fans will get to experience the grind of getting up to the highest level possible.
As players level up, they will earn achievements and also find rarer gear in the harder levels of the game. Although it may take a while, reaching the highest level is worth the grind, especially for Minecraft superfans.
7 Farm For Unique Gear
There are a bunch of pieces of unique gear in Minecraft Dungeons, and each level contains several pieces that fans can get by chance in chests and from boss fights. A few examples of unique equipment are the Souldancer Robe, which adds a 30% chance to negate an enemy attack and the Sabrewing Bow, which will apply healing to Co-Op partners.
Each piece of unique gear in Minecraft Dungeons will have a special enchantment. It’s worth attempting to collect every single one so the player can try out different builds and use everything to their advantage when trying to defeat bosses on the higher difficulties.
6 Find And Complete The Secret Dungeons
A few levels within Minecraft Dungeons contain extra secret levels to be unlocked. A few of these are “Moo?” which is a secret level in the player’s Camp, the “Creepy Crypt,” which can be unlocked in the Creeper Woods, and the “Underhalls” which is found in the Highblock Castle dungeon.
Currently, only a handful of secret levels have been discovered by players. However, there are possibly more hidden within the dungeons in the game that fans haven’t come across as of yet. It’s worth checking out some of these hidden levels because they add some exciting new gameplay to Minecraft Dungeons for players that have completed the main dungeons. It’s also worth noting that some of these hidden levels, such as “Moo!” are only available to the player once they have completed the game on the default difficulty, so these dungeons are the perfect endgame activity!
5 Replay The Game With Friends
Minecraft Dungeons is an enjoyable game when played by one person. However, adding friends into the mix will make it even more fun. Players can currently play with a total of four people, and, although the game doesn’t support multi-platform crossplay yet, this feature will be added in the future.
Players can experience the game with only other friends on their platform, meaning that players on Xbox can only play with other Xbox players, for example. It’s very enjoyable to replay the game with a lower level player or even try to take on the higher difficulties with a friend.
4 Play The DLC
Unfortunately, there is currently no DLC released for Minecraft Dungeons. However, a DLC has been confirmed, and it’s likely that the developers will continue to add new content to the game for years to come. The two DLC packs that are confirmed are called “Creeping Winter” and “Jungle Awakens.”
For players that are reading this after the DLC has been released, the expansion packs add a new story and new dungeons with gear for players to obtain. It’s worth checking out the expansions after beating the game because they add much more content to Minecraft Dungeons.
3 Create A Second Character And Try Out A Different Playstyle
Creating a second character can be very fun, especially for players trying to out a new build. There is so much gear in Minecraft Dungeons that is helpful for building a plethora of different classes, and the only way to experience this is by building a new character and farming gear. Otherwise, players may have to dismantle their favorite equipment for enchantment points.
Players will also get to replay the game again in its entirety and experience completely different procedurally generated levels. Creating a second character can add many gameplay hours to the Minecraft Dungeons, especially for players that enjoy trying new things.
2 Collect All Of The Unique Artifacts
There are many different artifacts in Minecraft Dungeons, and they can do things such as summon pets, heal the player, and increase movement speed, just to name a few. Players can obtain these artifacts by buying them randomly from the vendor at their Camp or alternatively obtaining a new artifact every time they complete a dungeon.
Farming for these artifacts will be essential for endgame content, and it will help players grow their build and complete it. Although grinding out these artifacts can be a long experience, it is also fun to do so with friends that are also looking for new items.
1 Play Apocalypse Mode
As mentioned previously, there are higher difficulties within Minecraft Dungeons that players unlock after beating the game. To obtain access to the Apocalypse Mode, players will have to have defeated the Illager Boss in Adventure Mode.
The Apocalypse Mode adds some very difficult twists to the bosses in Minecraft Dungeons and will challenge the player in ways that the normal mode could never do. Every fan should attempt to complete the Apocalypse mode, as this will be their greatest Minecraft challenge ever!
