It looks like the rumors were right after all – realistic medieval open-world RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance is officially coming to Nintendo Switch, although we don’t have a specific release date yet. The announcement came straight from Warhorse Studios, the Czech team behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance, originally released in 2018 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. According to the crew, “the unthinkable" Switch release became possible due to the fans’ overwhelming feedback....

Melody of Memory. It’s the next game in the Kingdom Hearts franchise and with little surprise, it is not a mainline title. Instead, it’s the Disney and Final Fantasy mashup’s first rhythm game. While this could be seen as coming out of left field, Kingdom Hearts has been due a rhythm game for quite some time. This is mostly thanks to the game’s iconic music and many Disney songs that make an appearance throughout each title....

The Last of Us Part II is flooded with detail. Everything from the graphics, lighting, sound design, and countless other effects are a spectacle to behold. It also thrives on exploration, rewarding players who search around the world with plenty of supplies that will help throughout the journey. This includes the all important safes that players will find scattered throughout the world. Most are hidden in optional areas that are not required for the main storyline, but each one contains large amounts of supplies....

Horizon: Zero Dawn launched on the PC on August 7, 2020. Horizon is considered one of the best PS4 games, but the PC version has been a bit buggy thus far. Thankfully, Guerrilla is continuing to support the title via patches and updates. Since the launch of the game, Guerrilla has updated Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PC three times. This recent patch is rather large, but it fixes crashes, progression issues, and more....

Compared to the normally happy-go-lucky games of Nintendo, The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is pretty dang dour. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where Ganon has basically won and Link has to sleep for a century to recover from injuries he sustained in battle. The Great Calamity took an awful toll on Hyrule, but thankfully, you get to set things right by defeating Calamity Ganon and freeing Zelda from her 100-year long mission to keep him at bay....

Life Is Strange Remastered Collection is coming September 30, giving fans the chance to relive the choice-based hit in crisper graphics, and with improved animations. In the trailer, everything from the facial expressions to the use of colour has been overhauled, putting a fresh coat of paint on both Life Is Strange and the prequel, Before The Storm. On the 22nd of July 2005, the day after a series of failed terrorist bombing attempts in the UK capital and a fortnight after fifty-two people had been killed in the London Underground bombings, a Metropolitan Police surveillance team misidentified Brazilian electrician Jean-Charles de Menezes as a fugitive terrorist and fatally shot him as he entered Stockwell Tube Station. The aftermath of de Menezes’ death, the circumstances of which were the subject of intense press speculation in the run up to a 2008 inquest that resulted in no criminal prosecution for the officers involved, caught the imagination of screenwriter Jed Mercurio....

Hugh Jackman’s record-breaking run as Wolverine finally ended with 2017’s Logan. The character met his demise during the film’s finale, an ending that was unexpected and a bit divisive. However, Director James Mangold revealed that Wolverine’s death was a logical final step for Jackman and the character he became synonymous with for nearly 20 years. From 2000 through 2018, Jackman appeared as the mutant superhero nine times. With age finally catching up with the Australian entertainer, he and Mangold, who also directed 2013’s Wolverine, decided that this would be Jackman’s last go as Logan....

Despite originally being scheduled for this past week, the boxing match between controversial YouTube star Logan Paul and boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather has yet to happen. Paul said that the fight is still on, however. Paul, along with his brother Jake, have been successful Internet personalities since 2013. Logan has been a part of several controversies including tasering dead rats, playing into the eating Tide Pods trend, and filming a suicide victim inside of Japan’s Aokigahara forest....

Loop Hero is the newest roguelike game that everyone’s buying and for good reason – it’s insanely addicting. The constant cycle of looping around the map, getting new (and hopefully better) items, putting some new tiles to fight new enemies, then starting the loop over again is so simple yet so infinitely enjoyable. It’s a very unique game, with an equally interesting design, and there’s a lot that it doesn’t tell you flat out....

When it comes to gaming’s greatest rivalries, there’s none more iconic than the one between Mario and Bowser. The Koopa King first appeared back in 1985 in Super Mario Bros. and has been here ever since. Without his pesky penchant for pilfering Princess Peach, the Super Mario series as we know it probably wouldn’t exist. The games may have recycled that whole basic plot more times than Pokémon has its own, but really, what does it matter?...

Although set in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, the Super Bowl LV trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier demonstrated that the Disney Plus series (slated for release on 19th March) would primarily be a follow up to Captain America: Civil War (2016). It’s obvious a show starring Captain America sidekicks would continue from the Captain America films, but it is interesting given both Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and the MCU had seemingly moved on from that installment....

Garrus the turian from the Mass Effect series is one of the most popular characters of the franchise. He is one of the few companions to stick by Shepard for all three titles of the trilogy, and he is also just a fun friend. For those who play female Shepards, they can also romance Garrus by the second game, and he is known to be one of the most popular romance-able characters in all of Biowares’ RPG games....

Although the most recent entry in BioWare’s science fiction franchise with Mass Effect: Andromeda has only been out for a little less than a week, fans of the action-RPG have already spent loads of time looking for various secrets within the game, with one Reddit user by the name of Mazorr recently discovering an Easter egg alluding to Batman. More specifically, the fun little acknowledgement of the Caped Crusader actually appears to be a reference to a promotional poster released for Christopher Nolan’s 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises....

The Mass Effect games are filled with many weird and wonderful creatures, and Mass Effect: Andromeda is no exception. Whilst the developers did not get to include as many new races as they would have liked, they did introduce us to the Angara and the Kett. The Kett are the first race encountered in the game, and they are immediately hostile, killing and injuring several members of the Andromeda Initiative....

Today, we got a good, hard look at what’s changing in the upcoming Mass Effect remaster, set to arrive May 14. Community manager Jay Ingram revealed combat changes, Mako improvements, modernization tweaks, and totally new gameplay elements that were never in the original games. He also talked about one of the things that needed a complete rework. The Galaxy at War portion of Mass Effect 3 used to require that players go online and level up their multiplayer characters sufficiently to increase their Galactic Readiness stat....

Like many gamers, I have memories of the Mad Catz controller. I’d ask for a second N64 or GameCube controller for my birthday, only to be given some misshapen thing. As an adult, I understand the gift givers’ thought process. Why would someone pay full price for the official controller when they could get the off-brand version for half the price? It still has all of the buttons, right? In fact, the non-official controller even added a Turbo button and that sounds like a cool thing to have....

If you failed to pre-order an Xbox Series X or S with with Xbox All Access due to demand, you might be in luck. It appears that Microsoft is emailing people who lost time to applying for Xbox All Access and missed out on pre-orders as a result. This email claims that several Xbox Series X and S units have been set aside, and that these people will get an exclusive window to order....

Developer DICE releases the launch trailer for the parkour-infused Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, which gives fans a glimpse of the forthcoming game’s action. Although Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’s actual release date is a couple of weeks from now, DICE has decided to give fans of Faith Connors and her immaculate free-running capabilities a taste of the open world action-adventure title’s gameplay with its launch trailer. Entitled “Why We Run,” the video not only shows off some of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’s first-person action elements, but also it covers the heroine’s back story by touching on her origins as a juvenile delinquent who is forced to become a runner for reasons much bigger than herself....
