According to a new leak, Microsoft is planning to release a special edition purple Xbox One S with a few Fortnite exclusives, reports German site WinFuture. The images show a “Gradient Purple" console, controller, and in-game skin for the game. This is not the first time that Xbox has bundled popular games, especially with its release of the Xbox One S, which is functionally identical to previous versions of the console with one notable exception: it doesn’t have a disc drive, so all games must be acquired digitally....

Without a doubt, Warner Bros. Hades, the newest roguelike action RPG from Supergiant Games, has cracked the code on how to make a great roguelike game. “You don’t actually play as Hades in Hades. Instead, you play as Zagreus, the god of the underworld’s son. Zagreus wants to escape Hell, but his progress is stopped by supernatural foes, creatures of myth, and the like. If he dies by their hand, Zagreus is promptly sent back to the house of Hades, resetting his progress....

Netflix reached over 200 million paid subscribers in 2020 thanks to the pandemic, with most of the growth coming from outside the US. “Despite COVID-19, Netflix had a good 2020. Magic: The Gathering’s newest expansion is the Kaldheim set, and Kaldheim is set on the Norse-inspired plane of the same name. How about the booster draft Limited experience of playing with Kaldheim? Aside from the unique setting and characters in Maneater, the combat in this shark-based RPG is completely different from most other action RPGs you are likely to play. Alongside having to flop out onto the land like a beached whale in some scenarios, you also have to contend with the world’s best fisherman, who seem to be able to hit you perfectly no matter how deep you dive. While there are some problems with Maneater’s combat, especially the lock on target system, it isn’t the hardest combat to get a handle on....
