Wizards of the Coast announces a new Magic: The Gathering Masters-style set fittingly called Double Masters following Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths and Commander 2020, which released not too long ago. This is the first Masters set in some time, is set to release on August 7, and focuses on the theme of “doubling.” Magic Arena will get the content online on August 6 for $6.99 per booster. Magic: The Gathering’s Double Master set will have 332 cards on it in fifteen card packs, but each pack will have two rare slots and two foil slots....

While Disney already has a full slate of film and television projects to follow WandaVision, it continues to expand its options with the acquisition of Marvel properties from other networks. Most recently, the company was able to successfully reobtain the rights to The Defenders from Netflix, which means that future Marvel Studios projects involving Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher are now possible. In the story trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken released at E3, fans were shocked at the death of wise-cracking Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6. In the trailer, Cayde-6 is offed by Prince Uldren, who has returned to the story after an absence since the beginning of Destiny’s Taken King expansion. Since then, Twitter and the Destiny subreddit have been filled with fans mourning the death of Cayde-6. And it appears that someone at E3 wanted to memorialize the fictional character’s death with a real-life memorial outside the Los Angeles Convention Center where E3 2018 is being held....

Amongst the laundry list of titles fans are hoping will arrive to the Nintendo Switch sometime in the future, Konami’s action-adventure stealth game Metal Gear Solid sits firmly in one of the top spots. New operators in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare always warrants extra attention from the game’s community. Universal Orlando is stepping up the scales in their theme park as Jurassic World Velocicoaster will be opening on June 10. According to Slashfilm, this ride is Florida’s fastest and tallest launch coaster. It will soar dinosaur explorers 155 feet in the air with a catapult speed of 70mph. Hopefully, life will find a way for you to go to this attraction when US and international visitors can go to the park after COVID-19 protocols subside....

In a profile in Rolling Stone on Eternals director Chloé Zhao, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige called her pitch for Eternals “the best he’d ever heard.” “Not only does Chloe make remarkable, small, personal movies in a remarkable, small, personal way, but she thinks in grand, cosmic, gigantic terms, which fit perfectly with what we wanted to do,” Feige told Rolling Stone. “Eternals is a very big, sweeping, multimillennial-spanning story. It’s no secret that Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will have over 140 songs available. Tetsuya Nomura — the director of the Kingdom Hearts series — stated that it would some time ago.
