Earlier this month, evidence that a prequel to the critically acclaimed Life is Strange was in the works hit the Internet. Today, at Microsoft’s E3 conference, Life is Strange: Before the Storm was officially unveiled via a brief trailer, giving fans plenty to look forward to for later this year. Three episodes of Before the Storm will be released, starting in August. The fact that only three episodes are being produced, compared to the five-episode run of the original Life is Strange, might confirm reports that a sequel is also in development....

Developer Insomniac Games has recast Peter Parker’s face model in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered in an attempt to better utilize the visual upgrades offered by the PS5 and to set the series up for its future on the next-gen console. Now that Origin members and EA Early Access has officially gone live Mass Effect: Andromeda, gamers have been able to get a taste of the introductory gameplay alongside the media officials who were given early copies. The Mass Effect trilogy is a lot of things to a lot of people, but we completely understand if you see the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition as an excuse to cruise across the galaxy looking for romance or, at the very least, the chance to hook up with an alien. Another month, another slate of free titles for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Microsoft has announced the May 2021 lineup for its “Games with Gold” offering and it’s just as underwhelming as you’d expect. The two highlights -in my opinion- are Lego Batman and Tropico 4, two Xbox 360 games that are a decade or older. On the Xbox One side, subscribers will be treated to Dungeons 3 and Armello. I’ve never heard of either of those, but reviews are relatively positive for both....
The excitement for Metroid Dread is hitting a peak, as the game is a best-seller on several different retailers across the world and is even out of stock in some areas. Looking through several key retailers across different areas of the world shows that Metroid Dread is a bestseller pretty much everywhere, which is impressive considering the game hasn’t even released yet and was revealed earlier in the week. It’s a similar story for the Metroid Dread amiibo set, which is completely sold out at every retailer....
Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the best animated shows to appear on television. It is surprisingly good. When I first saw it, I did not realize how well-developed it would be. The pilot was all right, but the more I saw of it, the more it became the number one show I binge-watched. I went out of my way to see every new episode. I had never given any other cartoon that much attention....
