Square Enix has good news for collectors of Final Fantasy 7 memorabilia. As of right now, fans can pre-order new Play Arts Kai figures of the main cast members of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which include Cloud, Barret, Tifa, and Aerith. Square has released figures of Cloud and Barret before, but that was back when it first announced FF7 Remake. As such, the replicas imitated outdated game models of the two characters....

A bizarre bug has been discovered in Call of Duty: Warzone which instantly downs the player when activated. Redditor csvolts discovered the bug and posted it on Reddit, but others in the comments section are verifying saying that it has happened to them or people they know in the past as well. The bug in question is related to Call of Duty: Warzone’s heartbeat scanner item, which is meant to show the locations of enemies in the vicinity....

In a recent poll, Metacritic users have voted for The Last of Us Part 2 as their Game of the Year for 2020. The Last of Us Part 2 has received heaps of praise this year from several different outlets and won seven different awards at The Game Awards. PC players may have felt that they’ve gotten a raw deal as of late. Back in July one of the biggest games of the year, Batman: Arkham Knight, was recalled for having huge technical problems on PC. Framerate issues made the game almost unplayable, with Arkham Knight stuttering and lagging whenever anybody moved on screen. Just last week, PC players were also faced with the announcement that open-world adventure Assassin’s Creed Syndicate would be delayed on their platform....

Even though nothing is official just yet, The Wall Street Journal reports that Microsoft is in talks to purchase Minecraft developer Mojang for a reported $2 billion. If the deal goes through it would be one of the biggest gaming-related acquisitions in recent memory, and would put Microsoft in control of one of the most lucrative game franchises around right now. Although Mojang does have two new games in development, Scrolls and Cobalt, the real prize for Microsoft is, of course, Minecraft....

Minecraft Dungeons has just released its second DLC pack, entitled Creeping Winter, bringing along a ton of new content for players to enjoy. King’s Bounty was originally released in 1990, a defining game in the industry that would eventually inspire franchises like Heroes of Might & Magic. Now, 30 years later, King’s Bounty is coming back. 1C Entertainment, with publisher Deep Silver, announced King’s Bounty 2 back in mid-2019. Since then, however, the game has seen some extended delays pushing it past its original 2020 launch. Now, unfortunately, King’s Bounty 2 is getting what will hopefully be its last delay, as it’s being pushed back to August....

It wouldn’t be a Koei Tecmo release without some kind of confusing DLC plans. In a new video posted on YouTube today, the Japanese publisher announced that Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV would be receiving a DLC expansion pack.
