Adding flames to the fire, players had data mined early pre-launch code for Andromeda, revealing that a gay romance with the Angaran was initially on the cards – but this content was removed by the time the game launched....

Hollywood star Megan Fox has expanded on her cameo appearance for the popular MMORPG Black Desert, appearing in recent promotional material controlling a sorceress based on her likeness. Fox, who is best known for her work in Jennifer’s Body and the Transformers franchise, has been mounting a quiet comeback after being in a string of critically maligned films. She’s previously lent her talents in previous Black Desert promotional material. Developer Asobo Studio has revealed the recommended specs for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and fans of the popular sim series may need to upgrade their computers and clear out their hard drives to play Microsoft Flight Simulator when it releases later this year. In a post on the game’s official site, Asobo set the minimum spec for Microsoft Flight Simulator as 8GB of RAM, the recommended spec at 16GB of RAM, and the ideal spec at 32GB of RAM....

After several months of teasing, the rather excellent Microsoft Flight Simulator finally has its hotly anticipated VR mode. Giving players a brand new perspective on the picturesque scenery, this mode will obviously require a compatible VR headset and quite the beefy PC to run smoothly. If you meet the system requirements for the base game, you should be good to go. Mojang has released a new Minecraft Snapshot that lets players see some of the new features coming to the next version of the game before the upcoming patch fully releases. This newest look gives players a hands-on view of the upcoming Caves & Cliffs update that plans to rework how the game builds the underground networks of caves where exploration and material gathering takes place. In a blog post to the official Minecraft website, Mojang discussed everything that this new Snapshot brings to the game, with an emphasis on the cave part of Caves & Cliffs....

Minecraft Dungeons receives its first post-launch DLC today, just over a month since its May 26 launch. Jungle Awakens unlocks today on both PC and Xbox One. The premium expansion introduces a whole range of new content for the ARPG. To showcase this new Minecraft Dungeons content, and persuade a few players to buy the DLC, too, Mojang’s put together a new trailer. The Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens DLC features new playable mission stages, new enemies to battle, and new game mechanics to uncover for the first time....

Massive Minecraft updates are in the works, including cross-platform play, mod marketplace, and a huge graphics update. Minecraft is still going strong, with Mojang announcing big changes are on the way for everyone’s favorite polygonal pastime. Coming this Summer is the Better Together update, which finally brings cross-platform compatibility to Minecraft. This means that Xbox players will be able to game with Nintendo Switch players, and both of them will be able to play with Mobile version players....

Back in 2016, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered released alongside Infinite Warfare, completely remastering the iconic single-player and multiplayer modes that defined a generation. When it came to the release of the long-rumored Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, Activision chose a different route by omitting the Multiplayer and Spec Ops modes from the remaster entirely and instead promised to bring forward fan-favorite maps from the series to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, to avoid splitting the player base any further between the current game and the battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone....

It seems that the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie has its lead actor, as Variety has reported that James Marsden has been tapped to play the protagonist of the Blue Blur’s first live-action cinematic outing. Sonic the Hedgehog is an upcoming movie that plans to blend live-action and animation in order to tell the story of one of gaming’s most iconic mascots.
