Following the closure of Lionhead Studios and the cancellation of Fable Legends, it now appears that Microsoft is set to close even more first-party developers. Earlier this week, Microsoft revealed that co-op multiplayer title Fable Legends had been cancelled, with the game having only made it through a few years out of its proposed 10 year life-span. Moreover, Microsoft revealed that the developer behind the game, Lionhead Studios, would also be shuttered while Press Play Studios, a developer based in Denmark that was working on the mysterious ‘Project Knoxville’ would also join the Fable Legends dev on the chopping block....

Xbox boss Phil Spencer discusses the releases he’s looking forward to this year, and says that Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be among the best. While engaging with folks on his official Twitter account, Microsoft’s head of its Xbox division, Phil Spencer, was asked by a user which game he’s most excited for in 2016, which prompted the executive to immediately say that Gears of War 4 is his top pick....

Microsoft recently announced that although it intends to host a showcase at Tokyo Game Show later this month, it won’t be revealing any new details about the Xbox Series X. The first character who belongs to the second Fighters Pass in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now live, as Min Min from ARMS has been added to the game in the latest patch. Super Smash Bros. received five DLC characters as part of its initial Fighters Pass, with Piranha Plant also being offered for free to people who purchased the game around launch. If this rumor is correct, it will release on November 13th, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Xbox One is mysteriously not mentioned. Ezereal found the news and posted a screenshot of the website on Twitter. Fan site KH13 reported on this rumored Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory release date.
