Alwa’s Awakening, a cute metroidvania that launched two years ago on the Nintendo Switch, is getting a much-deserved sequel later this year. Elden Pixels has officially announced that Alwa’s Legacy will release sometime during the summer of 2020. Alwa’s Legacy “honours the past with its 16-bit inspired visuals,” but hopes to offer a “contemporary take on the metroidvania genre.” Although the original title, Alwa’s Awakening, didn’t quite get all the attention it deserved, it was still a critical success — and fans of the series are probably itching to get their hands on the sequel....
