Earlier this year, Nintendo released the free downloadable game Jump Rope Challenge on the eShop for gamers to enjoy. Made as a test for Nintendo’s developers as they transitioned over to a work from home environment, it always had the awkward caveat of “limited availability” attached to it. Now, we know exactly when that availability will be up. In a new post over on Nintendo of Japan’s website, the company announced that not only is a brand new update is currently available, but the quirky little title will be leaving the eShop at the end of September....

It seems that many were mislead with the tweets potentially hinting that Jurassic World Evolution 2 was going to make an appearance at E3 this year. An official tweet showing the Indominus Rex in a new location appeared, which naturally led people to believe an announcement about a new game could soon be following. Despite the Jurassic World Evolution 2 project being highly anticipated by fans, we haven’t heard anything official, though it’s possible we could hear something at some point this year....

Last summer, many new game announcements were made during Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase event, promising players that great things were on the way. There were plenty of standouts, from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to the reveal trailer for Horizon: Forbidden West, however one incredibly unique game captured both the eyes and hearts in a matter of moments. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a dazzling new adventure title from Ember Lab, that looks to harken back to the platforming genre popular in the early 2000’s while also capturing the spirit of what it would be like to live in the world of an animated feature film....

Ever since the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3 was released, fans of the series have been eager for more information about the game whether by official announcement or leak. With the latest leak of the game being a Jungle Book world, players have begun together a full list of the known worlds in the game, as well as some rumored ones as well. The latest rumor (it is just a rumor so take this information with a grain of salt) has Kingdom Hearts 3 traveling to worlds never seen before....

The exhibitor map for the upcoming E3 trade show has revealed that Konami will be announcing two new games for the Nintendo Switch. All we know about the games is that one will be an action/adventure title, and the other will be some kind of compilation. Konami was one of the first third-party developers that supported the Nintendo Switch, as Super Bomberman R was one of the launch titles for the system....

One of the most requested Assassin’s Creed settings is finally becoming a reality this year in Assassin’s Creed: Unity, the upcoming game set during the social and political turmoil of the French Revolution. The title was confirmed by an Alpha build trailer that Ubisoft released in the wake of the game’s setting being revealed in leaked screenshots, and now Assassin’s Creed fans are hungering for more information about the game....

Inspirisles is an incoming tabletop RPG currently in the midst of its Kickstarter campaign, and one that you will hopefully be hearing a lot of positive things about in the future. With an end goal of $1,558, it funded in less than 10 hours, and of this writing, is sitting at almost $17,000 with 17 days left to go. The Inspirisles Tabletop RPG is primarily aimed at teenage players, with a focus on helping them learn about and develop important life skills such as creativity, empathy, and teamwork....

The late MythBusters host Grant Imahara would have turned 50 years old last week. A noted robotics engineer, Imahara had dedicated his prolific career to inspire others to partake in science and art. In honor of his life and legacy, his family and friends have established The Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation....

The Muppets are back in spooky fashion with Muppets: Haunted Mansion set to hit Disney+ next month. “The special will see Gonzo the Great and Pepé the King Prawn survive a night spent at the titular mansion after an invitation from the Ghost Host (Will Arnett). The rest of the Muppets appear as ghosts within the mansion, and Miss Piggy takes on the role of Madame Leota’s floating head in the crystal ball....

This Lost in Space review contains spoilers Lost in Space Episode 9 Through eight episodes of television, Lost in Space’s charm and joie de vivre has outpaced some of the ridiculousness of its premise. The introduction of Dr. Smith: Master Mind Manipulator has necessitated the charactes sometimes act far dumber than they really are. Still, the amount of storytelling fun onscreen has often made those mischaracterizations seem like unfortunate, yet tiny blips....

Lucifer Season 5 Episode 13 “That’s what you get for bringing a beanbag to a demon fight.” Love is in the air, and as long as the principals don’t overthink things too much, everything should work out that way God intends it. We just don’t know who’ll be taking over should Lucifer’s father make good on his intent to retire. Since a peaceful transfer of power doesn’t appear imminent, “A Little Harmless Stalking” takes the opportunity to deliver some of the series’ most poignant and heartfelt moments, and Lucifer appears on track to continue breaking new ground in its quest to dig deeper into the human psyche....

Madden 21 originally released months ago and though the current NFL season is halfway through, EA’s football simulator is about to enjoy a second wind. Released on December 4th, their promised next-gen upgrade has finally arrived for both the Xbox Series X|S and PS5. It also coincides with EA’s next-gen launch for FIFA 21, though that update arrived a day ahead of schedule. They’ve been keen to emphasis just what the new technology can provide, outside of a visual boost for both sports games....

Wizards of the Coast is officially called the Secret Lair x The Walking Dead a “one-of-a-kind crossover,” but we know that’s not exactly true. AMC has shown an aptitude to crossing over with whoever wants to get their zombie on, which includes a game where you construct bridges. At least Magic has actual zombies in it already. For those unaware, Secret Lair is Magic: The Gathering’s special occasion, limited-time-only releases that celebrate Magic artists and sometimes some world event....

The draw of Maneater may be in the bloody carnage that can be wrought upon humanity, but the combat in this shark-RPG wouldn’t be half as fun without the addition of mutations and evolution sets. One of the more interesting of the three main evolution sets in the game is the Shadow evolution set, which turns the bull shark into a pitch-black machine of death while equipped. Focusing on speed more than power, the Shadow evolution set turns the titular man-eater into a vampiric force of nature, capable of not only absorbing health through its bite attacks and summoning clouds of poisonous gas but is also the only set that allows the bull shark to use a projectile attack....

If you love some carnage in your video games, hop into the ocean of Maneater for some carnivorous combat. Those who download this shark-centric RPG should take note of what builds work best for each situation. Because there are varied enemy types in Maneater, players will want to have several sets ready for different encounters. Taking on legendary hunters is completely different than confronting an underwater apex predator. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses....

The Mass Effect games created a defining sci-fi opera in the late 2000s to early 2010s, when Commander Shepard faced the terrifying alien threats of the hive-minded Geth, the rogue Spectre known as Saren, the insidious Collectors, the almighty Reapers fleets and more. Shepard became the first human Spectre and a galactic hero, achieving one remarkable feat after another. But Shepard’s methods and personality are sometimes a little strange at times....
