In its sixth episode “Meet Me in Daegu,” however, HBO’s horror anthology-esque series takes a trip East to delve into one of the Korean Peninsula’s most famous beasts. “Meet Me in Daegu” centers around a “kumiho” and the “mudang” who summoned it....

One of the most prolific fan theories for Mass Effect has once again been discredited by BioWare, though the developer does seem to have an appreciation for how fans have developed the interpretation. Microsoft’s next foldable phone might actually fold this time, according to a new report. While the Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2 were both foldables, they didn’t actually fold in the sense that many would expect. Sure, there was a hinge in the middle but the actual display was really just two side-by-side. That had its positives and its negatives, and now we’re told that Microsoft has decided to call it quits - the next foldable from Redmond will have a display that actually folds....

Minecraft is adding parrot taming in an upcoming patch, but a controversy has led Mojang to change how players tame them. Parrots are an all new creature type in Minecraft’s upcoming 1.12 update, which currently has no announced release date. But taming them, which requires a cookie, has led to the game’s Reddit community requesting a change since chocolate is poisonous to many types of parrot and other birds. Mojang has now confirmed that a change is in the works....

Fortnite has proven to be hugely popular; and not just with the average gamer. Epic Games’ multiplayer marvel has also proven to be a huge success among musicians and professional athletes, with some rugby players even performing Fortnite-inspired celebrations. The game is such a hit among professional athletes, in fact, that a few pros recently came up with an inventive way to play. A video from the official Major League Baseball (MLB) Twitter earlier this week showed a group of players for the Milwaukee Brewers using the stadium’s jumbotron to play Fortnite....

Mere hours remain until Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare kicks off, but in the meantime, Infinity Ward is giving players an idea of what to expect later tonight, and what they should expect is needing a fair amount of storage space freed up. Last year, Bungie published some job listings on their careers website that revealed that the next unannounced IP will be an RPG with weapons, armor and takes place in a Necromancer’s dungeon. Another listing suggested that the game is “something comedic with lighthearted and whimsical characters”. Since then, Bungie has published several new job listings that suggest some interesting new features for the game and for content creators. Originally discovered by DestinyNews+, the first job listing is for an Incubation Associate Tools Engineer, which states, “you will be on an interdisciplinary team where you will implement and improve the tools content creators use”....

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally out on HBO Max and fans are digging through all 4 hours of it, celebrating the launch of Snyder’s long-awaited original vision. In the run-up to release there were all kinds of trailers, teasers, and previews being handed out like candy, and they were devoured by those who just couldn’t wait for the final unveiling just as quickly as they were offered up.
