Lovecraft Country‘s wild ride continues next week with “Jig-A-Bobo,” which, from the trailer, seems to be putting Diana “Dee” Freeman, aka Hippolyta and George’s comic-creating daughter, front and center. In the trailer, we see Captain Lancaster coming after Dee, grilling her about magic. In his rush to get away from the observatory in last week’s episode, Tic left Dee’s comic book alongside an officer’s dead body (shot by Hippolyta), so we can guess why Lancaster thinks Dee has answers, but presumably Dee’s storyline in episode 8 will be about so much more than her entanglement in Lancaster’s racist, power-seeking quest....

The NFL season is, hopefully, right around the corner which means fans are gearing up for the release of Madden 21. This year will see the release of next-generation consoles, which means Madden as a series will also be making the jump. With plenty of time on everyone’s hands, the speculation regarding who the best teams will be in the upcoming season has reached a fever pitch. The conversation has even shifted to focus on the video game, Madden 21....

While still suffering from a dwindling Steam player base, Marvel’s Avengers hopes to build anticipation for its future with some gameplay and the debut date for Kate Bishop. Announced at the start of September, Bishop highlighted the first push in Square Enix’s pursuit to deliver more beloved characters to the post-launch slate. Like much of the added content for Marvel’s Avengers, her addition had to be delayed, yet according to the Marvel’s Avengers War Table Deep Dive posted on Thursday, the female archer hits the calender’s bullseye on December 8....

Right after the September 2020 PlayStation 5 showcase, Insomniac Games confirmed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales would release with an enhanced version of Spider-Man PS4, officially dubbed Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered. This update will allow Marvel’s Spider-Man to take full advantage of the PlayStation 5’s features and have overall improved visuals. However, fans can only obtain Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered digitally by purchasing Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which would give them a voucher code used to download the game to their PS5....

About a week ago, Rocket Raccoon was confirmed as a playable character in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite after showing up at the tail end of the story trailer for the forthcoming fighting game, but now the title’s developers have decided to give fans a look at a one of the special moves for the Guardians of the Galaxy character in action. An all-new medieval strategy game was revealed Sunday morning named Manor Lords. Developer Slavic Magic dropped an announcement trailer that went semi-viral, with PC gamers comparing Manor Lords to Banished, Stronghold, Total War, and more. With the recent closure of Microsoft’s streaming platform Mixer, it would stand to reason that the company has some regrets about the decisions it made while trying to grow. Going up against the juggernaut that is Twitch was clearly not the best idea, in retrospect. Still, someone had to give it a go and Microsoft did everything it could to maintain the platform. As sad as that story is, Phil Spencer (executive VP of gaming for Xbox) has stated in a new interview that he has no regrets with everything that has happened with Mixer....

The combat in Minecraft Dungeons is quite basic; however, it also has many deep mechanics such as the extensive artifact system and the randomly-generated level design. All of these things make Minecraft Dungeons a very unique game in the franchise, and as such, there are many ways to improve upon combat and player skill within the game. Players will have to learn new techniques but also master current mechanics that are already in the game if they want to be the very best that they can be....

Infinity Ward loves to hide small details all over Call of Duty: Modern Warfare maps and game modes. A brand new four-player cooperative game based on the Jumanji film series called Jumanji: The Video Game has been announced. In collaboration with Sony Pictures, publisher Outright Games, Bandai Namco, and developer Funsolve are bringing the hit film franchise to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on November 15. Rather than adapting the original 1995 film starring the late Robin Williams, Jumanji: The Video Game will follow the characters first introduced in the 2017 sequel, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, starring Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson....

Keanu Reeves fans have begun a campaign to get him named as Time Magazine’s 2019 Person of the Year. At E3 2015, Guerrilla Games surprised everyone by revealing a brand new IP in the form of Horizon: Zero Dawn. The gameplay trailer for the title was met with enthusiasm from those at E3, even resulting in the game being nominated for Best in Show by the Game Critics Awards. Longtime fans of Guerrilla Games were probably somewhat disappointed that the studio didn’t show off a new game in the Killzone series instead of Horizon: Zero Dawn....

Kingdom Hearts 3 Director Tetsuya Nomura was unwilling to commit to any post-launch DLC worlds, but admitted the development team is preparing the game for that possibility. DLC is a relatively new concept to the Kingdom Hearts franchise. After all, Kingdom Hearts 2 was released all the way back in 2005 for the PlayStation 2, prior to the industry shift towards standardized DLC. Kingdom Hearts 3, though, is certain to follow in the footsteps of other recent Square Enix games like Final Fantasy 15, releasing plenty of substantial post-launch content....

Twitch streamer AaroneousGaming has been on a mission to get to max level in the Kingdom Hearts games without leaving the starting the area.
