After years of almost absolute silence regarding the future of Kingdom Hearts 3, game director Tetsuya Nomura is making up for lost time. The past few days have seen a deluge of Kingdom Hearts 3-related information, with Nomura seemingly willing to talk to just about anyone about the direction of the sequel and how its development is coming along. While fans hardly knew what the game would look like over a year ago, Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally beginning to take shape in the public eye, with a number of dramatic changes to the Kingdom Hearts formula coming on the horizon....

The Legend of Zelda franchise turned 35 this year, with February 21 marking the anniversary of the first game in the series back on the NES. However, fans were disappointed to not receive a dedicated Zelda-themed Nintendo Direct in the same way that Mario got for his big day last year. That could be about to change however, as images of Zelda anniversary merch is circulating online. The image was supposedly taken by a GameStop employee and shows off what could be an exclusive piece of merch....

The physical editions of Little Town Hero will be delayed in different regions around the world, with all of their release dates pushed back by several weeks. Little Town Hero is an RPG about a young boy named Axe, who is stuck in a village that no one is allowed to leave. Axe discovers a strange red stone, which leads to monsters attacking the village. In order to fight the monsters, Axe needs to use the power of ideas in combat, as he and his foe do battle across a giant board that changes the flow of the battle each turn....

Lumberjanes, the smash hit all-ages comic created by Shannon Watters, Grace Ellis, Noelle Stevenson and Brooklyn Allen, is coming to streaming. BOOM! Studios announced that HBO Max picked up the rights to the comic with a script-to-series order. Co-creator Stevenson, the creator and showrunner of Netflix’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, is attached as showrunner and executive producer. The comic follows friends Ripley, Molly, April, Jo, and Mal, attendees of the Miss Quinzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hardcore Lady Types....

Back in the early days of YouTube, Machinima spearheaded a huge portion of the site’s gaming-related content. The channel signed many popular YouTubers, put out a dizzying number of videos, and amassed over 12 million subscribers in the process. Machinima has remained one of the biggest YouTube channels there is, but on January 18 it deleted all of its videos, wiping out over 10 years of content in the process....

The Marvel’s Avengers War Table event gave many new details on the game coming out on September 4th. The War Table event gave fans a new trailer, a full mission of gameplay, some visually appealing skins, and the origin of the game’s main villain, MODOK. Before becoming MODOK, George Tarleton started his rise to infamy as a founding member of the organization, Advanced Idea Mechanics, or AIM for short. With a vision of curing the Inhuman disease, Tarleton used the Adaptoid project to convince the world that people with superpowers are too dangerous....

The Mass Effect games are known for their squadmates. The relationships Shepherd forms with his or her companions are some of the most interesting and well-developed in gaming, and ones which many other RPGs could stand to learn from when writing their characters.
