Even the PC market has gone from a steep decline to a profitable plateau so it seems that things for Microsoft are good all round....

The ongoing legal battle between Epic Games and both Apple and Google (in separate lawsuits) is the antitrust argument of the decade. For those who aren’t familiar, last August Fortnite players received an update that gave them the option to purchase V-bucks, the in-game currency, for a discount if they circumvented the payment systems used by the iTunes and Google Play stores. Both companies pulled the game from their stores in retaliation, saying the move was a violation of their Terms of Service....

Justice League actor Ray Fisher has once again slammed director Joss Whedon on his Twitter account. This time he has offered an explanation as to why Whedon and other higher-ups at Warner Bros. have not sued him yet for his continued accusations against them. It’s because he claims to be “telling the truth”. Since July 2020, when Fisher first accused Whedon of abusive behavior on the set of Justice League, the actor who plays Cyborg has taken to social media multiple times to express himself and his frustrations against the studio’s enabling of Whedon....

A free demo for Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will come Hand In Hand with fans next month. GameRant reported that the demo will arrive sometime in mid-October for the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch for the West. We don’t yet know the extent of what will be playable, but we expect that there will be 3-5 songs available that will show the variety of gameplay offered in this rhythm title....

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is the latest entry in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, and it simultaneously takes the series to places it has never gone before and everywhere it already has. Rather than following the events of the story through the eyes of Sora, hacking and slashing their way through countless heartless in their path, players will instead see things through Kairi’s eyes. Acting as a direct sequel, the majority of Melody of Memory takes players through the events of the previous games as Kairi’s memories, giving the oft-underused character a more important role that fans have been dying to see her in for some time now....

In Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora gets his hands on a wide variety of keyblades that he can use in battle against the Heartless, Nobodies, and other foes. Nearly every world Sora visits results in a new keyblade, and each keyblade can be upgraded in the Keyblade Forge, located in the Workshop of the Moogle Shops, found next to save points throughout the various game worlds. Keyblades require a variety of ingredients to upgrade in Kingdom Hearts 3, but there are two key ingredients that players will need more than anything else....

For whatever reason, the Master of Masters made Luxu his right-hand man. From all of his apprentices, the Master gave Luxu the most extensive role in his grand plan, bestowing upon him and telling him to use the Gazing Eye Keyblade to record multiple lifetimes of events into the Book of Prophecies. On top of this, Luxu was the only apprentice made aware of the Master’s plot. He was seemingly filled in on everything while the others were kept in the dark, and this plan of the Master’s is about to upend the Dandelions’ lives....

As the first big Nintendo Switch exclusive of 2018, Kirby Star Allies is part of Nintendo’s strategy to keep the Switch’s momentum going, but anyone expecting anything more than a standard Kirby game with a gimmick will be disappointed. It’s a big week for Gaijin Entertainment and their free-to-play smash hit War Thunder. The online WWII PvP flight sim finally made its way to consoles and is now available on the PlayStation 4 with its new Ground Forces expansion. Just like Wargaming.net has World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, so to do does War Thunder now have aerial and tank combat. Active veteran players who may have been playing the game since it hit open beta on PC in November 2012 will know that this weekend, War Thunder is celebrating the 70th anniversary of D-Day and players can complete tasks and earn in-game bonuses for jumping in....
