Lost in Space Episode 6 Through five episodes of Lost in Space (representing half of its 10-episode first season), the show has done a wonderful job developing the Robinson family into sympathetic, interesting characters. John, Maureen, Judy, Penny, and Will are not necessarily complex nor do they frequently transcend past the science fiction adventure archetypes they inhabit. John is the strong dad, Maureen is the smart mom, Judy is the smart daughter, Penny’s the funny one, and Will is the wide-eyed innocent and therefore the closest the audience has to a representative on the show....

When thinking of the Mass Effect franchise and what makes it so iconic, several things come to mind. From the terrifying Reapers to in-depth romances and the original trilogy’s strong protagonist, there is plenty to love about Bioware’s SciFi RPG series. However, all these iconic features are tied to the singleplayer offerings of Mass Effect, with the co-op survival multiplayer of Mass Effect 3 being largely forgotten. As such, the confirmation that Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer will not be included in the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is hardly a surprise....

Minimaps and quest markers are common features in most video games nowadays, although things weren’t always that way. The old isometric Fallout games didn’t have quest markers, and some people even think the addition of them ruined the modern games a bit. Instead of looking at where you are, quest markers force you to look ahead like a horse with blinders on. I’ve recently started Mass Effect, trying to plug yet another shameful gap in my game knowledge, and noticed not only are there no quest markers, but the minimap is also absolutely awful....
