This week Kingdom Hearts 3 fans were treated to a new trailer, dubbed the Final Battle, that offers glimpses at summons, towns, worlds, and story content. Of course, the action RPG still surely has some cards up its sleeves, but one of the biggest reveals in this trailer is the identity of the second playable character. Be forewarned: this article contains what some may consider MINOR SPOILERS. For the uninitiated, Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Sora would not be the only playable character back in 2017....

It’s been announced that EA’s multiplayer dodgeball game Knockout City will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch day via EA Play. Announced on the Knockout City official website (via Gematsu), Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to download Knockout City as part of their subscription when the game launches on May 21st. This is part of EA and Microsoft’s deal from last year which granted Xbox users with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription access to the entire EA Play library, the same library which Knockout City is being added to upon release....

EA has revealed Knockout City, which arrives on multiple platforms later this month, will be free to play for its first ten days. Trying to find a new twist on what is becoming a very crowded online multiplayer scene is incredibly difficult. EA believes it has discovered a yet-to-be explored corner of that market via Knockout City. The dodgeball-inspired title is coming to multiple platforms later this month, and EA has fulfilled its earlier promise of making the game free to play for a limited time....

Darkania Works and GrimTalin’s indie title Last Days of Lazarus had a staggered launch this year, with versions already available for PC and the latest Xbox consoles and the PlayStation 5 version coming later this month. Some players have managed to experience the unsettling adventure already and will have noticed that the Eastern European Last Days of Lazarus has quite a rare setting when it comes to video games. While it’s true that indie games like Last Days of Lazarus can get pretty creative with their settings, it’s still a unique time period and location to explore....

After a little over two months of an open beta period, developer Riot Games has announced that Legends of Runeterra will formally launch on PC and mobile on April 30 with full cross-platform functionality. The beta period has been a positive experience as the developers have worked hard to balance out regions and provide each champion an opportunity to shine. While a formal launch is reason to celebrate, there is even more exciting news in that a brand-new set of over 120 cards will launch on the same date, including a brand new region....

Apex Legends, the new free-to-play battle royale from Respawn, has taken the gaming world by storm this week.
