Marvel’s Avengers is approaching its launch day, and as such, the game’s promotional material has kicked into full gear. Today, an awesome new CGI trailer from Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts released for Avengers that sees the 6 launch heroes taking on AIM in a downtown area. The trailer, while not offering any new gameplay clips, does do its job of getting fans excited to play as the massively popular superhero team....
With the War Table livestream for Marvel’s Avengers fast approaching, which is set to show off new gameplay from the title, it’s no surprise that the developers are starting to ramp up marketing for the game, especially on the game’s Twitter account. As a part of that campaign, earlier today, the Twitter account released a tweet highlighting a defaced statue of Captain America, which many saw as out of touch and in poor taste with all the social issues going on in the world right now....
Several weeks ago, the publisher and developer Capcom released a story trailer for the forthcoming fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite which not only gave fans an idea of the title’s plot in its single-player campaign, but also offered up extended information on the release’s various modes and features. Now, the company has decided to show off some of the game’s pre-order incentives in a fresh piece of footage that displays the various costumes one can receive for certain characters on the roster upon reserving a copy of the title....

Kingbdogz (as he’s known online) is a Minecraft modder turned developer, who is now working on the 1.17 update for Minecraft. That update is set to come out this summer, and while many people will be surrounded by happiness and bright colors, Kingbdogz is on a mission to bring horror to your summer activities—almost literally. In a tweet on February 4, the developer said that he listens to the Amnesia soundtrack for inspiration on The Deep Dark....

Twitch streamer Mizkif donated a whopping $2000 to fellow content creator Alec Ludford. He received the surprise donation in the middle of a cooking broadcast, clearly moved by the generous act. Modder Lance McDonald is a skilled technician when it comes to debugging horror games. His recent work, however, focuses on increasing Bloodborne’s frame rate to 60fps, doubling its current rate. While the modder is near finished with his patch, he wants to give Sony the chance to upgrade Bloodborne first. Sony previously revealed that certain PlayStation 4 games would receive a “Game Boost,” that would increase its frame rate on the PlayStation 5....
John Swartzwelder is something of a comedy Santa Claus, especially for a huge Simpsons fan like myself. The reclusive writer is the most prolific contributor to The Simpsons, with close to 60 episodes to his name alone, and that’s ignoring the dozens upon dozens more he worked the punch ups on. Not just any old fodder either - Swartzwelder was a key figure in the Golden Age, and penned classics like Homer at the Bat, Dog of Death, Bart the Murderer, Bart Gets an Elephant, and arguably the greatest Simpsons episode of all time, Homer’s Enemy - this one is the joint highest rated on IMDb, tied with my personal favourite, Hank Scorpio’s You Only Move Twice....

Polish game studio Donkey Crew has been working around the clock to bring their ambitious survival game, Last Oasis, back online after an early access launch that was plagued with problems. The server issues were so bad in fact, that the developers were forced to shut them down for a week to try and pinpoint what was wrong while offering players a full refund. This past weekend, Donkey Crew opened up the game’s servers for a public stress test and it looks like the game is running stable for now....
The various League of Legends esports leagues across the world are rapidly approaching the conclusion of their spring seasons. Through April, twelve different regions will wrap up their spring League of Legends playoffs, deciding which teams will represent them at the international Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) tournament.
