Today at E3 2017, Microsoft shocked fans of the Metro franchise with the announcement of Metro Exodus, which is due for release in 2018, and is playable in native 4K resolution on Xbox One X. Microsoft announced Metro Exodus with an intense trailer, showing the protagonist explore post-apocalyptic Russia. In the gameplay trailer, we see gameplay elements that should be familiar to fans of the franchise, such as scavenging for ammo, using a gas mask, and fighting off stranger creatures with shotguns....

Mike Tyson may not have been part of a Punch-Out game since Nintendo lost the rights to his likeness in 1990, but Iron Mike seems to want to get back into the gaming business by making his own version of Punch-Out. In an interview with ShackNews, Tyson spoke excitedly about the possibility of creating a new game – though it’s a bit confusing what exactly he meant. “We’re going to start our own Punch Out game and our own Tyson Ranch Punch Out computer game,” Tyson told ShackNews....

During today’s pre-Tokyo Game Show stream, publisher Square Enix confirmed a ton of news surrounding the NieR series. Not only will remaster NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 be releasing in April 2021 but mobile spin-off NieR Reincarnation will be receiving a western release in both the US and Europe sometime in the future. Coming to both iOS and Android, that’s really all we know about the project thus far. A trailer from back in April showed off “in-game” footage but didn’t exactly clue us into what genre Reincarnation would be....

As a medieval-style RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance will remind players of similar games like Skyrim and The Witcher. The team at Warhorse Studios seems aware that these comparisons are inevitable, and have decided to include some easter eggs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance that reference some of its influences. One particular easter egg found in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a reference to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If players visit the stables at Merhojed, they can find a horse named Roach....

Following reports of a law firm considering a class action lawsuit against Nintendo due to the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers being susceptible to “drift” issues, it has been confirmed that the law offices of Chimicles Schartz Kriner A & Donaldson-Smith have officially filed a claim against the video game company. What’s being described as a drift issue relates to instances where the joystick on the Joy-Con acts like it’s receiving some sort of input from a user even if no one is touching it....

MOBAs have been around for decades, but very few have managed to achieve the level of success and popularity that League of Legends has. Riot Games released the MOBA back in 2009, and the game now has over 150 champions and a daily playerbase of millions. In order to keep the game fresh, Riot has had to make changes, whether they be visual or mechanical in nature, and the company has done so yet again by reworking the shop and in-game items....

League Of Legends players have been posting on discussion forums to announce a startling problem: the game’s makers are sending them other people’s information. Things like phone numbers, dates of birth, and even IP addresses are being sent seemingly at random to the wrong people. After several users confirmed that they got someone else’s private info, League Of Legends developer Riot chimed in to apologize and say it was a rare error....

After escaping Little Nightmares 2’s hunter and completing the Little Nightmares 2 forest chapter, players will make their way towards Little Nightmares 2’s second location- The School. Unlike the forest, where players would only have to contend with a single enemy, in The School players must escape the teacher and all of the students. What sets The School chapter apart from any level in the first Little Nightmares, is that it sees the introduction of combat mechanics to fend off the students throughout the chapter....

Earlier this month, we got the confirmation that Lost Judgment, a spin-off game from the Yakuza series, would be releasing on September 24, 2021. The game will follow from another in the series, Judgment, which was originally released on PS4 back in 2018. Unfortunately, we’ve also recently been made aware that the new Lost Judgment will not be getting a release on PC, so we will strictly be seeing it for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S....

The Eternals are simultaneously Jack Kirby’s weirdest and most straightforward creations, and with them coming to the big screen in February, bringing them back to the comics makes a ton of sense. Pairing Gillen with Esad Ribic (Secret Wars, Thor: God of Thunder) shows Marvel is not messing around with it....
