A couple of weeks ago, South Park mentioned Fortnite in its episode about school shootings, and as it turns out, the latest episode of the show also had a reference to a popular video game. As some eagle-eyed fans no doubt noticed, South Park’s season 22 episode 3 “The Problem with a Poo” actually features a reference to Overwatch. Near the end of the episode, the kids of South Park are shopping for costumes at a Halloween store called Halloween Outlet....

Over half a year after hitting retail, developer DICE is still working away at bringing Battlefield 4 to a playable state that meets the demands and expectations of the community and devs themselves. Netcode errors have resulted in issues (see: death shield) online, some of which (see: rubber-banding) have been helped with a recent upgrade of EA’s online servers. Lego has announced two new sets in its Star Wars helmets series. It has turned to the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars for the latest additions, with sets based on the headgear worn by Captain Rex and Clone Commander Cody in the TV show. Both sets are being released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Clone Wars being added to the cinematic franchise. Yet another big Fall 2014 release has been delayed until a later time, as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will no longer hit its original launch date. Fortunately, it hasn’t been pushed out of 2014 like so many others. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Shadow of Mordor will now launch on November 18 in North America and November 18 in Europe; almost a full month delay....

Minecraft’s biomes mirror reality. Because of this, they also reflect the distinct characteristics of the world, as well as embody their own unique Minecraft versions of those characteristics. The Badlands of Minecraftis inspired by the canyons, rivers, and mesas of the American deserts in places like Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. They feature red sand, clay, and cacti, just like players could find in real life. The Badlands is one of the more unique biomes in Minecraft and changes the way players have to approach survival entirely....

Minecraft Dungeons will finally let quest-setters play together next week, no matter what console you own. The update will roll out on November 17 on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch systems. Over the years, Kingdom Hearts games have been playable on many devices, with two of the most recent installments being mobile games. However, it was recently announced that Union X’s story will be ending in April and that the game will no longer be playable online. Dark Road, the other game in the series on the same app will reach its conclusion after that, leaving fans to wonder what will happen in the final story updates of both titles....
