Earlier today, the Xbox Live Marketplace leaked the existence of a Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning remaster, and now it’s been officially confirmed. Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is presumably coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 11, featuring remastered visuals and more. Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a remaster of the 2012 action-RPG that earned decent reviews but failed to generate much success from a commercial standpoint. The rights to the game were acquired by THQ Nordic back in 2018, after the conclusion of a long legal battle between the state of Rhode Island, Curt Schilling, and the now-defunct 38 Studios....

Limited Run Games, a publisher based out of Raleigh, North Carolina known for small-batch printings of popular indie games, has hit a new sales milestone. Limited Run Games not only does special physical releases for modern digital games like Octodad, Guacamelee!, and Transistor, but the group also handles re-releases of classic games like Zero Wing for the Sega Genesis. Josh Fairhurst, the creator of Limited Run Games, recently took to Twitter to announce that the publisher has sold over 2,500,000 physical games since it began by publishing strategy game Breach & Clear in 2015....

Even though the multiplayer tech test for Mass Effect: Andromeda was cancelled, it hasn’t stopped BioWare from continuing to reveal more about the game’s online multiplayer mode. Producer Fernando Melo recently took to Twitter to post an image showing the “Missions” feature in the multiplayer, said to link the multiplayer with the single player experience, but his photo reveals a bit more than he may have intended, as it confirms that loot boxes are in the game....
