Last weekend, we were treated to the yearly Minecraft Live event where developers revealed what is going to be arriving in Minecraft with the next update. As you probably know by now, the 1.17 update is called the “Caves and Cliffs” update, and will forever change how cave generation works in Minecraft. Although the specific number of cave variants coming to the game wasn’t stated, (one developer said there would be “a ton”), we do know that at least one more type will be added to 1....

Mojang has detailed the three new mobs coming to Minecraft: Caves & Cliffs Part 1, including glow squids, goats and axolotls. The news was delivered through a new video on the official YouTube channel, similarly to the last Caves & Cliffs. This video has Brandon and Nir talking about the new mobs in the game, how to find them and how they’ll react to the other mobs in the game. Minecraft Dungeons offers a lot of replayability. The game’s levels are partially procedurally generated, and every playthrough feels different thanks to the various builds players can craft depending on what loot they find on their journey.
