The Madden NFL series is one of the best-selling franchises out there. While it does help that publisher EA has an exclusivity deal with the league, it still manages to top sales chart with every entry. Part of it has to do with whatever athlete happens to grace the cover of each year’s game. But a curse has seemed to strike players who grace the cover. Ever since John Madden stopped appearing on the cover of games, most players have been having on-the-field issues such as bad performance and/or injuries....

Lots of BioWare fans praise Mass Effect 2 as the best in the trilogy. It was developed without the infamous crunch that plagues the gaming industry, created new and interesting characters for the player’s squad while bringing back a few favourites in cameos, and came with a fascinating new villain. It’s also incredibly tough compared to its predecessor - in more ways than just combat. But for players looking to at least nail the combat side of this game (especially for the suicide mission at the end of the game) weapon upgrades are an essential part of fleshing out Shepard’s build....

Mass Effect Legendary Edition only released last week and it already has a ton of mods. The release date for the 11th installment in the classic Mega Man series may have been leaked. The Singapore PlayStation Store apparently listed Mega Man 11 as coming out on October 3rd, 2018. Although the listing has been removed, Twitter user yesubaybee took a screenshot, shown below, which was picked up by popular Twitter user Wario64. Wario64 also tweeted the Mega Man 11 page from the removed PSN listing, featuring a full description of the game and even a new gameplay mechanic....

However, since things didn’t work out with either of them in the aftermath of the finale, fans have also been shipping Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) with her roommate, Enid (Emma Myers), given how close the unlikely friends grow throughout the season....

The King of Fighters 15 has officially announced almost as many characters as the franchise has entries as fan-favorite Shermie returns from the depths of SNK Heroines for a back-to-back femme fatale presentation to follow up Mai Shiranui’s reveal last week. The last time Shermie had made an appearance in a mainline game for the franchise was in The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match on the PS2, meaning the Iori Yagami lookalike hadn’t graced fans with her presence since 2009....

Despite being a commercial success that has exceeded 1 million in sales, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is nevertheless plagued with bugs. On this, Warhorse Studios had admitted that the game wasn’t at the level it would have liked for its launch. Executive producer Martin Klima stated, “I freely admit though that I wish we had more time to polish the game before the release, that’s what AAA game deserves.” With that in mind, it’s noteworthy that Klima doesn’t believe that Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a genuine triple-A game, but neither does he believe that it is a traditional indie title....

A new image of Kairi suggests that she will be a playable character in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory game. If true, she joins almost every playable character from across the franchise as an active combatant in the new rhythm game. The story of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory focuses on Kairi’s search for Sora following the events of Kingdom Hearts 3 and its mind-bending DLC epilogue, Re:Mind. Having exhausted all other options, Kairi gets the chance to explore her memories, each represented with a song from the franchise’s history....

Now that the Kingdom Hearts series is going to be available on PC, fans and newcomers alike will likely be immersing themselves in the expansive series. Of course, the most iconic part of the series is the Keyblade, and the latest installment, Kingdom Hearts 3, has 19 different Keyblades Sora can wield in-game. Kingdom Hearts 3 is unique in that it is the first game in the series to allow Keyblade upgrades, with the addition of the Keyblade Forge in each shop....

Director Michael Dougherty’s Christmas horror tale Krampus opened earlier this month (and is still around if you want a nice dose of a twisted anti-Santa Claus to take the edge off the holiday season) and one of its many pleasures is watching brilliant Australian actress Toni Collette star as Sarah, the matriarch of the dysfunctional family that comes under attack from the title entity. Collette’s Sarah is buttoned up and controlling, but she and her husband (Adam Scott) are losing touch and her son Max (Emjay Anthony) is ready to renounce Christmas entirely — paving the way for the supernatural mayhem to follow....
