Mario Kart Tour’s summer fun continues with the all-new Pirate Tour, now available on the app! Following the Wild West Tour that ran from July 28-August 11, the Pirate Tour is now live until August 25. Players can take to the seas and race as two new avatars: a unique Boswer Jr. who’s dressed like a pirate, or King Bob-omb, who’s making his playable character debut in both the Mario Kart franchise and the Mario universe in general....

When Marvel’s Avengers launches on Sept. 4 many gamers will be wondering if the problems they noticed during the beta period will be addressed in the official release. While it was originally leaked months ago, BioWare has now officially announced Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, which remasters the original three Mass Effect games for modern audiences. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will upgrade Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 to support up to 4K resolution, with improved frame rates and textures, as well as upgraded character models, shaders, and effects to ensure the best-possible visual experience. Additionally, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will also include all of the single-player DLC and promotional items that were released for the original games....

By most metrics, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is an exceedingly modern game. A challenger is approaching! Super Smash Bros. Ultimate modders have added Gravity Rush’s Kat as a skin for Bayonetta, and it looks awesome! Demonslayerx8 and InfiniteTatami worked on the new skin, and it looks good enough to be official! From the character artwork on the loading screen, to the spirit in the game, she looks fantastic. The UI has also been altered to show Kat’s cat Dusty as the symbol for Gravity Rush’s representation....

The official trailer for the Monster Hunter movie has finally been revealed and it is…something. This Capcom adaptation is sure to turn some heads. The Pokemon Company has launched a new recycling initiative in Japan as a special collaboration with the “Pokemon Daisuki Club,” which functions as the official Japanese Pokemon Fan Club. The new initiative has been dubbed “Hungry Grimer,” or “Empty Belly Grimer,” and it involves a particularly hungry Grimer’s pursuit of a full belly. Fans can take a look at the official Pokemon site dedicated to the project, but unfortunately, details are only available in Japanese....

Jared Leto’s role as Joker in Suicide Squad was one of the most baffling parts of that movie. He was bizarre, obnoxious, sleazy, and had a controversial redesign that positioned him more as a modern day gangbanger than any of the character’s more famous interpretations. Audiences and critics immediately pointed to him as one of the movie’s greatest failings, asserting that he was both unnecessary to the story and exceptionally uncharismatic, which is something of a problem for a character who has often been defined by his larger than life personality....

Jump Force launched last year to mixed reviews, but the game has proven popular enough that Bandai Namco has continued to release new content for it on a regular basis.
