One of the questions lingering over the launch of a slew of Marvel Studios shows on Disney+ is whether the characters introduced on the nine Marvel shows that aired in the last decade on Netflix or ABC — including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Agents of SHIELD, and others — could find their way to the Disney streaming service in rebooted form. That query was posed today to Marvel Studios chief creative officer Kevin Feige during a Television Critics Association (TCA) presentation for Marvel’s Disney+ offerings, which include the currently streaming WandaVision, the upcoming The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and many others to come....

It’s official! Kevin Hart has joined the cast of the upcoming Borderlands movie. He will take on the role of Roland opposite the already announced Cate Blanchett as thief-siren Lilith. This announcement comes after months of rumors and negotiations for the comedian to nab the role. Roland is described in the film as a grizzled ex-soldier turned mercenary, which aligns with the character’s backstory in the first two Borderlands games. Within the games, Roland was honorably discharged from Crimson Lance, his military unit....

Most fans doubted from the beginning that Kingdom Hearts 3 would be the end of the series, thanks to the massive amount of extended and spin-off content that the game couldn’t hope to cover. So, when questions about the events of Kingdom Hearts Union Cross seemed to be going mostly unanswered throughout the game, most players assumed that Kingdom Hearts 4 was on its way. Following the cliffhanger ending of Kingdom Hearts 3, Square Enix also released a DLC titled Re:Mind that many assumed might clear up the story and lead into the next game....

One of Kojima Productions’ employees has tested positive for COVID-19, or coronavirus, leading to the studio officially shutting its office down for a temporary period of time. The studio, run by famous developer Hideo Kojima and responsible for 2019’s Death Stranding, confirmed the diagnosis in a press release and listed out the precautions being taken as a result. The employee in question hadn’t been in the office for several days already, but naturally, the rest of the staff is still responding to the news....

Video games owe a lot to the Super Mario series. As well as it having played a hugely significant role in defining both 2D and 3D platforming, the series has blazed the trail in a number of key areas. Another week is here and, although the Cloning Labs still haven’t launched, there’s still the usual grind for Marvel’s Avengers players to work through. A new weekly rotation means a handful of Priority Missions, HARM Challenges, the Mega Hive to power through, so there should be the usual amount of content to keep players busy again. Early 2021 should (hopefully) bring the Clint Hawkeye content, the Cloning Labs (if they don’t arrive earlier), and the true next-gen versions of the game, but for now players need to stick to the established gameplay loop until all of that excitement arrives....

Marvel’s Avengers has added a new team attack that was requested by the fan community, allowing Captain America to bounce Iron Man’s beams off his shield and into enemies. The superhero team in Marvel’s Avengers is close to the one seen in the first MCU Avenger’s movie, with Hawkeye switched out for Ms. Marvel (though Hawkeye is coming further down the line). The first mission involves an event called A-Day, where a Terrigan bomb is detonated near San Francisco, killing numerous people, including Captain America....

It was also nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards, and remains a fan favorite on the PS4. Now, just five months after release, you can purchase the game for $20 cheaper. For $39.99, those who did not pick up Spider-Man upon release should be enticed now. The game offers a quality campaign, with loads of collectibles and side missions to accomplish....
