A BioWare employee hints on Twitter that there will be longer gameplay demos of Mass Effect: Andromeda soon, while an insider suggests a marketing blitz is coming. Mass Effect: Andromeda might be the most talked about game early into the new year, but not all of the chatter surrounding BioWare’s upcoming title can be viewed as favorable. Yes, Mass Effect: Andromeda has been nothing but impressive from a visual standpoint, and the BioWare’s most recent Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer was a continuation of that trend - yet fans have begun to express concerns over the lack of actual gameplay demonstrations emerging from the title’s continued development....

There are many organic species in the Mass Effect universe, but few synthetic ones that have actual intelligence. The Geth are something in between artificial intelligence, a war machine, and a hive mind. They operate as a data collective but run around like little Among Us characters completing tasks. Many Mass Effect fans will instantly recall the heartbreaking storyline with Legion and suddenly have something irritating both of their eyes....

These days, the best that players can hope to get out of developers and publishers when it comes to the achievements of their games are sales figures. Even then, these figures only tend to see the light of day in the event that a game has performed exceptionally well. In Raya and the Last Dragon, the new film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Kelly Marie Tran voices the title character, a warrior princess who embarks on a quest to reunite her shattered land, the mythical kingdom of Kumandra, as an insidious evil from reemerges within. A formidable, fearless fighter already, Raya assembles a ragtag team as she goes, including the world’s last dragon (voiced by Awkwafina), who possibly holds the magical key that Raya needs to unite the peoples of Kumandra again....

AEW Double or Nothing took place on Saturday, May 25, featuring a stacked card of professional wrestling culminating with Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho for a future shot at the AEW World Championship. As is typical of big matches, Kenny Omega unveiled brand new entrance attire that makes a nod not only to the popular anime Sword Art Online, but Final Fantasy 7 as well. Kenny Omega made his way to the ring with a jacket that is clearly based on the one worn by Sword Art Online’s Kirito....

Organization XIII is the evil syndicate responsible for many of the problems plaguing the worlds in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Their members first made an appearance in Chain of Memories, and they continued to impede Sora and company in his most recent mainline game, Kingdom Hearts III. Despite many of the group’s evil tendencies, their characteristics and pre-Organization history endears them to many fans. Interestingly, their personalities fall in line with several traits from the various zodiac signs....

When the original Foretellers still held power in Kingdom Hearts Union Cross, they guarded secrets that they considered forbidden knowledge to the wielders serving under them. The Chirithy knew at least some of these secrets, but they were, of course, prohibited from telling their assigned wielders anything. The Foretellers didn’t withhold this information out of malice, but because they were told to do so by the Master of Masters. Still, while they did a relatively excellent job of hiding the fact that there were secrets to learn, one Keyblade wielder managed to stumble upon evidence of their existence, and his natural curiosity led him to seek out their answers....

A former producer at Team Bondi confirms that the Australian-based team is no longer working on Whore of the Orient, which was meant to be a successor to L.A. Noire. At the time of its release, L.A. Noire was one of the most expensive video games ever produced, having been in development for nearly 10 years. All the time and money spent developing the game seemed to pay off, as the game earned widespread critical acclaim and managed to sell over 5 million copies....

EG7 is a global gaming cooperative comprised of over 170 game developers, including recently acquired Daybreak Games, which develops and publishes a number of popular MMORPGs like Lord of the Rings Online. In a recent EG7 investors briefing, slides from the presentation revealed the upcoming plans for a number of games in the company’s portfolio, and one of the games briefly mentioned was LOTRO.
