Mad Devils is about as close as a game can be to a literal bullet Hell. Not that there seem to be particularly that many bullets on screen at any given time, but there are bullets and it does take place in Hell. Thus, the label seems appropriate. But it would be more appropriate to call Mad Devils a twin-stick co-op shooter because that’s exactly what it is. Play with or without a friend as you guide a group of fallen GI’s through the depths of the underworld in order to defeat Nazi Germany....

Ever since its release, the big question for Marvel’s Avengers was when it would receive new playable heroes. Some of these characters have already been confirmed - namely the two Hawkeyes, Black Panther, and Spider-Man - but the lack of a roadmap of any kind meant fans have no idea how much longer they’ll have to wait for them to arrive. Microsoft is considering bringing back their massively multiplayer online quiz game 1 vs. 100, or some derivation on that basic concept, for the Xbox One. Although the game only lasted two “seasons” it was widely considered one of Microsoft’s more popular online endeavors. Microsoft’s Phil Spencer teased a 1 vs. 100 return when he mentioned bringing “thousands of people together in a virtual environment.” He didn’t mention resurrecting 1 vs. 100 specifically, but rather an experience influenced by the lessons learned from that game....
It was recently revealed that Microsoft privately presented Bethesda boss Todd Howard with a special gift after the latter won the Lifetime Achievement Award at GDC 2016. The gift was a special kind of game, only accessible for Howard himself, that came equipped with a single 1000G achievement. The news comes in the wake of Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Bethesda for $7.5 billion. According to a blog post published by Todd Howard — which discusses all things Bethesda and Microsoft since Morrowind was originally ported to Xbox — the achievement was simply titled, “Lifetime,” in obvious honor of his award....
With Apple and Google recently posting bumper profits, the pressure was on Microsoft to respond with revenue that shows it is still a contender. Today the Redmond giant responded, and thanks largely the success of Xbox 360 and Kinect, Microsoft has been able meet those expectations. Overall Q4 fiscal earnings show revenue of $17.37 billion - up 8% from the same period in 2010. This helped to generate $6.2 billion in profit for the company, not too bad in a period of such economic turmoil....
New mobs are constantly being added with every Minecraft update, to make the world feel more complete and inhabited. One of the biggest updates ever was the 1.13 Aquatic update, which significantly changed Minecraft worlds by introducing underwater ruins and shipwrecks, as well as new mobs like the Drowned, dolphins, and turtles. Turtles in particular are interesting mobs due to their unique behavior. They’re not incredibly common, and breeding them is a task that can be difficult, especially if hostile mobs happen to get in the way....

Guerrilla Games put up a job listing for a Technical Vegetation Artist, and the post not only hints that the job is for a Horizon Zero Dawn sequel, but that said sequel will have groundbreaking graphics. The job description explicitly name-drops the title of the series. It says that Guerrilla has four different teams dedicated to working on and creating “stunning environments” for “Horizon.” Since Horizon Zero Dawn released three years ago, it’s probably safe to say that Guerrilla is hiring for a Horizon sequel....
Square Enix reveals the launch trailer for the third and final Just Cause 3 expansion pack, Bavarium Sea Heist, including when players can expect to get their hands on it. While the massive open world and creative destruction of Just Cause 3 captured the imagination of longtime fans, there were some who were turned off by the many technical issues and extremely long load times that were unfortunately present as well....

Kingdom Hearts 3’s has been in development for so long that it’s hard to believe the action RPG will be launching in less than two months. Yet that reality is all but undeniable, especially with Square Enix’s latest gift to fans patiently containing their enthusiasm. Sunday morning saw the release of Kingdom Hearts 3’s opening cinematic movie - or at least a portion of it. Fans will have to wait just a while longer for the full cinematic’s release, something they’re already used to by now anyway....
