A new Xbox event is reportedly being planned for March after Microsoft finalizes the acquisition of ZeniMax Media and its subsidiary, Bethesda Softworks. Avalanche and Square Enix have written a letter to fans in response to frustrations regarding ongoing technical issues within the game across all platforms. Just a day after Just Cause 3’s launch, players are already frustrated over a significant number of technical issues discovered across all platforms. Frame-rate drops, excessive loading times, crashes, glitches, and other issues have been cited; a list that certainly can’t be ignored. One of the most exciting aspects about the Disney/Square Enix crossover series Kingdom Hearts is finding out what new worlds the game will take us to next. Previous titles have largely stuck to exploring Disney’s long line of animated classics such as Aladdin and The Lion King, but Kingdom Hearts 3 has potential to take us to some new and truly spectacular places. We still have our fingers crossed that they’ll give us worlds based on Star Wars properties, but in the meantime, we’ve learned of two new worlds that will be introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3....
It goes without saying that the wait for Kingdom Hearts 3 has been a long one, which makes its release a dangerous game for Square Enix: the longer the gap is between the story’s evolution, the more expectations fans will have that it can live up to the sheer nostalgia of its predecessors. We recently had a chance to go hands-on with two sections of Kingdom Hearts 3 and our key takeaway is that Square Enix has certainly made this title worth the wait....
