The Mass Effect Remastered Trilogy is one of the worst kept secrets in gaming, with seemingly a never-ending list of leaks and rumors coming out regarding its development. It seems like an announcement is finally about to happen, however, as the Mass Effect Remastered Trilogy will likely be unveiled tomorrow morning on the BioWare Blog. With tomorrow being N7 Day, the yearly event where fans and developers gather to celebrate the Mass Effect series, a major announcement regarding the remaster could not come at a better time....

The dated shots of Miranda’s backside that were removed for the series’ remastered trilogy have been restored by the same person who modded them out of the original games. Mass Effect stole video game headlines for a large chunk of the first half of 2021 as the hype surrounding the remastered collection of its original trilogy built up. The Legendary Edition finally arrived back in May, giving fans of the games a better-looking version of them than ever before....

Fans of Godfall are about to get a long-wanted feature. Developer Counterplay Games has confirmed that the game will be receiving an update that will bring matchmaking, a feature many have wanted for the looter-slasher. Godfall made waves when it was announced as one of the launch titles for the highly-anticipated PlayStation 5. There was a lot of hype surrounding Counterplay’s first major title, but on its release it received rather mixed reviews....

Microsoft has begun issuing refunds for a number of games that recently went up on Xbox Live for players on Xbox One looking to get their hands on some classic titles that had previously been unavailable. The refunds in question are coming for de-listed Xbox 360 games that became suddenly available earlier in August with no explanation or announcement as to why they had been returned to the Microsoft Store in the first place....

Yakuza fans, the day you’ve been waiting for has almost arrived. The remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 have appeared on the Microsoft store page. Yes, the Yakuza Remastered Collection is almost here on PC and Xbox, with less than a week of waiting left to go. We now know that both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will reprise their roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker slash Darth Vader in the upcoming Star Wars series on Disney+. One gamer discovers that when left to their own devices, the non-playable characters in Just Cause 3 quickly turn to violence and disorder, leaving many dead. It turns out players don’t have to do much in Just Cause 3 for the game’s world to fill with action and violence. In fact, one player discovered that when standing still in the middle of a road, it takes less than two minutes for the surrounding area to erupt in violence, leaving many people dead and Just Cause 3’s protagonist hurried away in a very Just Cause fashion....

The latest League of Legends champion has been revealed in the form of Rell. While the buildup to the Iron Maiden hasn’t quite been on the level of Seraphine, Riot Games has still given the usual preview of her abilities and backstory. Rell is a sixteen-year-old Noxian exile who rides on a steed made from iron, seeking vengeance against those who had wronged her and others. Born with the ability to manipulate metal, she was sent to a boarding school in order to train her, but suffered years of abuse before destroying the academy and hunting down faculty members....

It looks like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is going to be about more than hacking mobs, after all. Nintendo’s latest Treehouse Live stream showed a good deal of gameplay from Age of Calamity, and certain elements from Breath of the Wild were seen. Even though you can just watch the stream on Youtube, Nintendo of America posted the more exciting tidbits on Twitter. In one clip, they show that Link can change into familiar outfits from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild....

The legacy of the legendary comedian Gilbert Gottfried, one of the industry’s most recognizable voices, will be impactful for generations to come. “Earlier today, Gilbert Gottfried’s family announced in a statement that the iconic comedian with a penchant for filthy jokes and a screeching voice had died ‘after a long illness at the age of 67. The Gundam franchise is gigantic. Spanning dozens of shows, movies, books, and comics, many of which are set in different timelines, have earned legions of fans around the world. When Netflix announced it was working with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and writer Brian K. Tabletop roleplaying game content creator and publisher Mage Hand Press critically hit its recent Kickstarter campaign for the Dark Matter sci-fi campaign setting. Setting out with a $25,000 goal, it funded in about four hours, and currently has $126k plus with 32 days remaining. The Kickstarter is for the Dark Matter Starter Set, a sci-fi campaign setting using the fifth edition rules of the world’s most popular tabletop roleplaying game. Dark Matter (DM) will not only bring us more DnD in space, but will keep its fantasy influence to allow for greater flexibility in game....

ITV crime drama Marcella was always intended to be a trilogy, according to actor Anna Friel, but a return after season three is possible. Speaking to Hello Magazine ahead of the UK season launch last month, Friel said that “the end of the third season is very much left open. I guess it depends on how much the viewers here like it.” Marcella season three was released on Netflix outside the UK in summer 2020, but ITV fans had to wait until January 2021 to find out what happened next to the troubled detective after she was recruited as an undercover officer at the close of season two....
