Fall Guys players want to see crossovers with just about every franchise possible and a couple of leaks have revealed some big ones are coming in season two. Fall Guys season two kicked off yesterday, restarting the game’s hype train all over again. This season has a Medieval theme as is demonstrated by its new levels and fresh skins. Players will be able to dress as dragons, knights, and witches as the season marches on, earning those outfits via leveling up on spending hard-earned Kudos and Crowns on them in the game’s store....

It appears we have set a new record. While we are only a little over a month into 2014, we already have our first new iPhone rumor of the year, and boy is it a doozy. Not only is this our first hint as to what Apple is cooking up for its loyal consumer base, it could be our first look at the next iPhone. If the above image is legitimate, and is in fact our first look at the iPhone 6, then it appears Apple has a few radical changes in store for 2014....

As its finale airs today, James Gunn and John Cena’s Peacemaker has been renewed for a second season on HBO Max. “If you were worried that the Peacemaker finale would be your last chance to see John Cena as the troubled, antiheroic nitwit donning his glossy chrome helmet, I have the best news for you: HBO has already renewed the series for a second season, which will also be entirely written and directed by James Gunn....

When Fallout 4 is released later this year, players will have over 400 hours worth of content to explore, as they try to survive the game’s Boston-set wasteland. From crafting their own weapons and strongholds to romancing NPCs and seeking out secrets, players are going to have plenty of reasons to stick around. Plus, with Bethesda having announced big plans for Fallout 4 DLC, and with the game getting mod support on all platforms, it seems unlikely that anyone will get bored of the game between now and whatever comes next....

Several days ago, Mafia: Definitive Edition was released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, which is a full-fledged remake of the original Mafia game that was first released back in 2002. Apart from the upgraded visuals and gameplay mechanics, Mafia: Definitive Edition also features a new soundtrack that aims to give players a different perspective on the story of its iconic characters. Now, players on the PC would be happy to know that Mafia: Definitive Edition is currently discounted at Green Man Gaming....

Nexon’s iconic free-to-play global MMORPG MapleStory is celebrating its 16-year anniversary with the grand unveiling of Hotel Maple, which offers a special reward-earning ranking system. MapleStory has captured the hearts of millions of players since its release in 2003, and Nexon has reaped considerable benefits from the game’s immense popularity (like earning $300 million from the game in the three years following its release). It’s certainly been an eventful time for the MapleStory franchise over the last two years, what with Nexon restructuring its operations and closing two offices in the US in 2019 as a result....

Mario Kart Tour gets even wackier with Cowboy Wario and Nabbit joining the game as playable characters. The duo fit right in with the game’s Kalimari Desert, which looks like it was ripped straight out of the N64 era and given a new coat of paint. Wario is also given a new car to drive called the Brown Offloader Kart so he can be given that full Western look. These characters are limited time only for the Wild West Tour event, so rev up those engines and earn them quickly!...

While the likes of Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and Street Fighter will always remain on top, other franchises have dipped their toes into the world of fighting games including comic-book properties from Marvel and DC. Marvel, DC, and other comic-book franchises have attempted to expand their properties to more demographics this way and there have been successful results like NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice games and the highly praised Marvel VS Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes but then there are the stranger ones that for better or for worse were not what was expected....

Marvel’s Avengers is this year’s big superhero extravaganza, and it’s already shaping up to be a bit polarizing. After a beta period that received a bit of a lukewarm reception, publisher Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics have only made matters worse by announcing that Spider-Man is coming to game…but only on the PlayStation versions of the game. In case you don’t know, these types of exclusivity deals mean that players on other platforms will be forced to pay the same amount for the game for less content....

When designing any game, there are some characters that make the cut and some that don’t. For a universe as expansive as Mass Effect, it makes sense that some of the original character ideas ended up on the cutting room floor or getting reworked into the characters players know (and maybe love, maybe hate) today. Mass Effect 2 had 12 total companions, and recently a new video has surfaced explaining all the cut characters from the trilogy’s second entry....

Streets of Rage 4 publisher and co-developer Dotemu recently announced a massive overhaul for the critically-acclaimed beat-’em-up, while noting that over 1.5 million players have downloaded the game since its launch earlier this year. Alongside other co-developers Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games, Dotemu recently released a huge update for Streets of Rage 4. Boasting over 80 individual enhancements and bug fixes, the latest patch is based on a wide range of community feedback....

A new Tomb Raider Barbie has been revealed by Mattel that is modeled after actress Alicia Vikander, the star of the upcoming Tomb Raider film based on the 2013 video game. The doll has a fully-articulated body, and is dressed in an outfit inspired by the movie. She will come with a few accessories, such as a map, journal, and her trusty climbing axe. There will also be a stand included, so collectors can show her off, and a certificate of authenticity....

E3 2020 is cancelled. Unfortunately, hosting 10-minute orchestra suites to announce video games is counter-productive to social distancing, which means that the industry event has been cancelled this year. However, Microsoft seems to be thinking ahead, and has stated that they will not have a physical event at E3 2021 either. In an email that Microsoft sent out to its Microsoft MVPs – that’s Most Valuable Professionals, non-employees associated with Microsoft – which stated that all events will be moving to a “digital-first experience” until July of next year....

Genshin Impact players have very much been enjoying the game’s steady flow of new content since release. Though it’s only been out for a couple of months, fans of the game have already been introduced to a major in-game event, and several batches of entirely new enemies and characters, like the recently arrived Geo god, Zhongli. As of now, miHoYo seems to be using a fairly straightforward character release system, which involves dropping a new mega-rare five-star character, alongside a handful of lesser four-stars, with every new Genshin Impact “summon banner....

Medical advancements aren’t exactly at their peak during the reign of King Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine), and as we’ve seen, it’s had some harrowing consequences. Despite some backward techniques, a six-year time jump between episode 7 and episode 8 means the maesters were clearly doing something right to keep a rotting Viserys alive – looking like a Westerosi version of Breaking Bad’s Gus Fring....

Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson has deleted his Twitter account after getting into a disagreement with gaming journalist Mark Brown, better known for the YouTube channel Game Maker’s Toolkit. Ever since Notch sold Mojang and Minecraft to Microsoft for a massive $2.5 billion, he has become notorious for making controversial comments on Twitter regarding topics such as gender, race, and sexuality. The quarrel stemmed from Brown tweeting about his dislike for advertisements on his videos, particularly those related to politics....
