Sony has come under fire in recent months for its refusal to to allow cross-play between PS4 and Xbox One. Although PC and PS4 cross-play is permitted, the company seems to be blocking PS4 and Xbox One cross-play features, but this could be set to change. Honestly, the Xbox Series X is a bit of an ostentatious monolith devoted to gaming, but the Series S? Now THERE’S a cute console. Every so often Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s development team will hire a real actor to play as one of its operators. Captain Price, Frank Woods, and Talon are only a few of the many operators who have real-life stand-ins for both trailer and promotional use in Modern Warfare. Although Captain Price is well known among the community, very little is known about the actor himself. A ruling against Disney in a court battle with Redbox could have far-reaching implications for the future of download codes. The ruling, a copyright scholar has suggested, could be an “atomic bomb” for copyright in general. The court case hinged on Disney’s disapproval of the resale of digital download codes (specifically in regards to Star Wars movies) by Redbox, the DVD rental kiosk company. Disney’s claim is that the code sales violate the terms of the digital versions– as the DVD cases indicate that “codes are not for sale or transfer....
Though the sequel to Kane and Lynch was officially announced just yesterday, new details on Kane and Lynch 2 have already surfaced. Thanks to some searching by Kotaku, it has now been revealed that the sequel will put users inside the head of the insane madman Lynch this time, and the game will start off in Shanghai, where Lynch is attempting to score a deal which will have a huge payout, and “nothing will stand in his way”....

With the upcoming Disney Plus MCU show releases, and with a film for Star Wars in the works, it seems as though Kevin Feige will be keeping busy for the foreseeable future. Fans of both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Star Wars franchise are looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table. Feige obviously has a lot of experience producing big and beloved franchise movies with his work on the MCU, and so it’s likely that he’ll be applying a lot of that experience to his work on Star Wars, especially due to how successful the MCU has been so far....
Square Enix announced during PAX East 2017 that Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X will be receiving a major update next month that will bring new features and act as a relaunch and rebrand for the mobile title. The update, dubbed Kingdom Hearts: Union X, will bring a multiplayer mode called Union Cross to the title, allowing players to take on Heartless together with friends and strangers. There’s no specific release date yet for Kingdom Hearts: Union X, but Square Enix did mention it will be releasing next month for both iOS and Android, a year after Unchained X was first released on mobile in North America....
