Since the announcement of Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, gamers have been enthralled by the relationship between Kojima and Death Stranding star, Norman Reedus. To commemorate that bond, one gamer has produced a unique modded cutscene from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain that has Reedus and Kojima enjoying a special moment playing in the rain. Those who have played Metal Gear Solid 5 will recognize the scene as an Easter Egg, where the support character Quiet leaps from a helicopter and proceeds to dance in the rain....

For weeks, Destiny 2 fans in the Raid Secrets subreddit have been going over all the trailers and leaked images in search of information for Beyond Light. One of the more popular theories that have been tossed around over the past few days is that Beyond Light will bring us a brand new Tower that might look a bit like the old Tower from Destiny 1. The latest Beyond Light trailer is sure to get these Destiny sleuths in a tizzy as it appears to show a brief snippet of the brand new Tower that’s coming in November’s expansion....

Back in April, The Sims 4 team released a six-month roadmap for the games DLC. It stated that we could expect an expansion pack, stuff pack, and game pack. We’re now into month five of that schedule, and we’ve seen the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack and most recently the Nifty Knitting stuff pack. This means that the new game pack is the last piece of the puzzle and should be here within the next few weeks....

Left 4 Dead is a classic survival horror shooter. Valve found lightning in a bottle with the game’s frantic pace, easy-to-handle mechanics, and short, concise campaigns. Fans gravitated toward Left 4 Dead, and elevated it with additional modded content. The fan campaigns for Left 4 Dead often feel just as solid as the originals featured in the game. For a community that generally shows a lot of love, it is strange that the Left 4 Dead wiki was hit with a bit of vandalism, introducing a “cut” character to the game’s lore....

Luke Fox is finally donning the Batwing costume! Batwoman Season 3 will mark the first live-action appearance of the superhero on screen. “Next season on Batwoman on The CW, actor Camrus Johnson will graduate from ‘guy in the chair’ to ‘guy in a mask; when his character, Luke Fox, fulfills his destiny to become Batwing. This is the first time the character has ever appeared in live-action form and, frankly, his small-screen arrival is long overdue....

The nominations for the second annual Critics Choice Super Awards are here, honoring many different titles across a multitude of genres. “The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced today the nominees for the 2nd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards, honoring the most popular, fan-obsessed genres across both television and movies, including Superhero, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Horror, and Action. Lost Judgment’s producer has revealed the decision to go for a simultaneous worldwide release tripled the struggles of the game’s development team. Lost Judgment, the official sequel to the Yakuza spin-off Judgment, was officially announced by Sega earlier this year. The most exciting news of all for Yakuza and Judgment fans outside of Japan is that it will be the first in the series to get a worldwide release on the same day....

Recently released through Steam Early Access, Lumberjack’s Dynasty - from the publisher/developer tandem of Toplitz Productions and UMEO Studios - looks to take the genre of lumberjack sim to the next level in a newly released gameplay trailer. The trailer kicks off with the playable lumberjack overlooking a common area that, well… could use some tender love and care. From there, the player gets to work assembling scaffolding and replacing worn-out roof shingles, followed by a rebuild of one of the decks....

EA confirmed when fans will be able to get the first look at Madden NFL 21 gameplay. The company did show a Madden NFL 21 trailer during the Xbox Series X gameplay reveal event earlier this month, but it only featured Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes II officially announcing the game and teasing some of its features. In a post on Twitter, the official Madden NFL account announced that the first Madden NFL 21 gameplay will be shown on June 1, 2020....

This upcoming weekend will play host to Super Bowl 55, the culmination of one of the most tumultuous seasons in the NFL ever played. This year’s competing teams have already been decided. The Kansas City Chiefs will go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a battle of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. As is now an annual tradition, Electronic Arts is celebrating the Super Bowl with a Madden NFL simulation....

The deep and complex universe of Mass Effect isn’t solely contained within the games. Several other pieces of media also help enhance the lore of the world, including the comics. There have been six comic series as well as several single-issues. None of them follow the adventures of Shepard or Ryder. Instead, they put the focus on other characters in the galaxy. And they do a fantastic job at filling in gaps of the story and expanding on certain big events....

Metal Gear Survive was far from a successful game for Konami, giving players every possible reason in the book to be done with the franchise. Not only did it release shortly after the company’s poor treatment of industry icon Hideo Kojima, but Metal Gear Survive was panned by critics for its poor story, bad AI, and misuse of the Metal Gear name. Worse yet, the release of Metal Gear Survive has all but likely ensured that a proper Metal Gear Solid 6 will never happen....

When Mighty No. 9 was finally released after a long and difficult development cycle, the game was a huge disappoint to those who had backed it on Kickstarter. Receiving mediocre reviews and suffering from a backlash over the game’s fumbled release, the Mega Man-esque title immediately faded from memory for many. Lead designer for Minecraft, Jens Bergensten, reveals the addition of a flying cape that will be available soon in the game’s PC version after its next snapshot update. Mojang’s insanely popular sandbox building simulation Minecraft will soon be incorporating a new way for players to get around in the game’s open worlds with flying. Developers are set to add a magic cape to enable the ability on the title’s PC version through its next snapshot update, and it will presumably be included on consoles some time in the near future....

Minecraft Dungeons has received a new trailer celebrating the launch of its cross-platform play, and it’s every bit as epic as it is humorous. The dungeon crawler will support Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC crossplay, and is available now. The new trailer showcased a group of Minecraft characters banding together in-game to defeat Arch-Illager and a horde of zombies. Using a host of weapons - including the great hammer and the corrupted beacon - the heroes annihilated all enemies in sight....

The developers at Raven Software pay homage to an old glitch in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered that used to result in players falling through the floor. The original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is still to this day considered one of the best multiplayer shooter experiences on a console, and its influence can be felt in almost every FPS that releases. But while Modern Warfare may have been a standout multiplayer experience, it was not without its problems....

Twitch streamer JoshOG has called playing the same three maps in VALORANT “boring.” Overwatch launched with 12 maps. PUBG launched with just one enormous map. VALORANT is in between with three different maps during its closed beta, but some players have already had enough of them. One of those players is Twitch streamer JoshOG. He’s one of the many streamers that have been asked to take part in the VALORANT beta in order to hype the game before it’s expected release, but he’s already got some criticism of the game’s map count....
