The Disney and Square Enix mash-up sequel Kingdom Hearts 3 has begun to have a steady showing at the biennial D23 fan expos, now that the game is getting closer to release. Just days after a brand new trailer debuted at the expo here in the States, Disney has announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be coming back for D23 Japan in 2018, with a much stronger presence. Lance of the Indigo Elite Four has ended the long-running debate about dragons in the Pokemon world, by claiming in Pokemon Masters EX that not all dragons are Dragon-type. Pokemon Red & Blue only had 151 Pokemon, and some types were rarer than others. As such, some trainers that specialized in certain types had to use a mixture of Pokemon. These include Agatha the Ghost-type trainer using Poison-type Pokemon, and Bruno the Fighting-type trainer using Rock/Ground-type Pokemon....

Here’s how Luminous Productions can make Project Athia’s world in apparently just a few seconds of work. Gosh, it seems like a lifetime ago thanks to the time dilation of 2020, but Project Athia was introduced way back in June as an upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive. The game comes from Luminous Productions, the same folks that made the Luminous Engine and used it to make Final Fantasy XV. After releasing their first title, Commander Keen, the game that put id Sofware on the map in 1992 was Wolfenstein 3D. It’s the first first-person shooter I ever played and like its spiritual successor Doom, helped define the genre, rightfully earning its title as the “grandfather of 3D shooters.” As id Software moved on to to develop multiple Doom and Quake games, and most recently, Rage, the franchise that started it all was seemingly pushed to the back of their library, returning in 2001 with Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which like its predecessor, received positive reviews....

Wizards of the Coast has dropped the list of banned and restricted Magic: The Gathering cards for the upcoming month on their website. Today brought a lot of good news and content updates for Marvel’s Avengers fans, as the game finally received some promised DLC, quality-of-life improvements, and next-gen upgrades for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Developer Crystal Dynamics also shared the 2021 content roadmap for the game, which includes a few new event updates over the course of the next few months like the Tachyon Anomaly and Wasteland Patrol. However, there was one notable omission from the roadmap that fans have been asking about for months now: the Spider-Man DLC....

The closed beta for Marvel Super War began today, allowing players to test out the mobile MOBA from NetEase until June 10. As the early gameplay footage shows, many of the characters skins seem to favor the more traditional, comic book designs instead of the recent look from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The game is described as free-to-play for both Andoid and iOS devices, gathering both Super Heroes and Villains from all of the major teams....

Mass Effect 5 is in a tricky position. The story of the original Mass Effect trilogy has concluded, while the new story which began in Mass Effect: Andromeda was poorly received, making it somewhat unlikely that BioWare will return to either points in the timeline for the next game. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain may have released a few weeks ago, but the package that players received at launch was missing one key element. Now, the third iteration of Metal Gear Online is live, offering up a chance to test your tactical espionage action acumen against an international array of opponents. Metal Gear Online started out as a bonus mode designed for Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, which was later tweaked for inclusion in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker....

While its development has been shrouded in controversy pretty much from the get-go, Metal Gear fans have nevertheless been greatly anticipating the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. The wait for the long anticipated open world stealth action title, and possibly the last Metal Gear developed by Hideo Kojima, is nearly over. The PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One versions of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain have always been scheduled to release on September 1st, 2015, but the PC version was originally delayed by two weeks, set to come on September 15th instead....
