This DC’s Legends of Tomorrow review contains spoilers. There’s a lot to like about “Meat: The Legends,” the second episode in Legends of Tomorrow’s sixth season. The problem is the good bits are generally disconnected from the main plot of the episode, and the rest of it just wasn’t very good. Our first episode to really jump into the season’s arc picks up right where the last one left off: with an alien floating through the timestream, getting smushed on the windshield of the Waverider....

Disney+ has been getting a lot of flack for making their original series too short in episode count. Well, no need to worry, because the new Andor show is their longest yet at 12 episodes. “How would you like to spend three months with Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor? Later this year, you’ll get that chance. A new interview confirms that his upcoming Star Wars show, Andor, is 12 episodes long. That’s double the length of this week’s Obi-Wan Kenobi show, five episodes longer than The Book of Boba Fett, and four episodes longer than each season of The Mandalorian....

Ludwig Göransson, the composer for The Mandalorian, spoke on how he changed the original soundtrack in Season 2. “The propulsive theme for The Mandalorian not only redefined Star Wars music, it’s also become the soundtrack for millions of people’s motivational playlists. The hard-to-categorize score, composed by Ludwig Göransson, doesn’t just transport us to a galaxy far, far away, it also feels somehow closer and more intimate than the John Williams space opera that came before....

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has published a news post (discovered via NintendoLife) on its official website in celebration of Little Nightmares 2 becoming the publisher’s fastest-selling game ever. In just under a month since release, the game has sold a whopping 1 million copies, bringing the total sales of the Little Nightmares franchise as a whole to 5 million. Well, things are getting better out there now that vaccines are starting to roll out around the world, but most countries still have restrictions on public gatherings (and if not the countries themselves, then individual states/cities still do). Germany too has strict rules on how many people can gather indoors that make something as big as Gamescom–the world’s largest gaming event by attendance–completely impossible. The country is on a lockdown until the end of the month, with individual states going into a reduced lockdown state depending on their coronavirus caseloads....

The target audience for Pixar’s new animated trifle, Luca, will likely be at an advantage over their parents. While I’m sure all audiences will be thrilled to have this new cinematic distraction to watch at home on Disney+ (and without a surcharge!), the younger you are, the better the chances you won’t notice glaring similarities to The Little Mermaid from 32 years ago—and the easier it’ll be to accept Luca for what it is....

Celebrating Mass Effect’s tenth anniversary, former Bioware animator Jonathan Cooper tweeted a series of ten facts about the game. Amongst them, one tweet focuses on how The Office influenced the game.
