A family tragedy pulled Zack Snyder away from Justice League while the film was in post-production, leaving Avengers director Joss Whedon to finish the movie. Fans and critics alike noted a significant tonal difference between Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, with the latter eschewing many of the darker elements of the DCEU in favor of MCU-like jokes. This has left fans calling for the release of the so-called “Snyder Cut” of Justice League that better matches the director’s original vision, and now it’s finally coming to pass....

Warner Bros. is set to relaunch The Matrix franchise with a fourth film co-written and directed by Lana Wachowski. However, Laurence Fishburne will not be reprising his role as Morpheus for the fourth installment of The Matrix franchise despite having appeared in all three of the previous films. In August 2020, Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures officially announced the studio was moving forward with a fourth chapter of The Matrix....

With over 140 champions available, League of Legends players are bound to have some favorite and not-so-favorite champions. One champion that is frequently on the receiving end of a lot of ribbing is Teemo. Described as a usually jovial yordle, Teemo can be unsettling at best and downright terrifying at worst, as he is able to switch quickly between charming and deadly serious. Being both a Marksman and Assassin means Teemo can dish out a lot of damage and stay largely undetected, with his abilities allowing him to turn invisible in and out of the brush, blind his enemies, and deal magic damage over time....

It appears that a new Red Faction game has been leaked by Nvidia’s website. An unannounced title, Red Faction Evolution, has emerged as one of the games supported by Nvidia photo mode, Nvidia Ansel. With eight years already gone since the last Red Faction game, Red Faction: Armageddon, released, fans hoping for a follow-up title could be brimming with excitement given this development. The last game’s poor sales forced publishers THQ Nordic to put it on hold, but they could be taking yet another swing, having released a remastered version of Red Faction: Guerilla last year....

It’s been a long time since I invested in a set of LEGOs. They’re expensive nowadays, and now I’ve got the quintessential video game version of those ageless blocktastic toys. The game is none other than Minecraft, and it can be found on PC, Android, and iOS devices for a lot less than even a handful of the brand name blocks. This week, publisher Square Enix and developer Deck Nine Games announced the next title in the Life is Strange franchise, Life is Strange: True Colors. This new entry of the beloved narrative-driven adventure series will feature a new story, characters, powers, and in a series first it will not be episodic. It has now been revealed that the game will also utilize the controversial Denuvo Anti-Tamper software. Denuvo is an anti-piracy software that developers and publishers pay to utilize to save time and money on developing other measures....

Dontnod Entertainment, the studio behind the episodic graphic adventure game Life is Strange and the recently released action-RPG Vampyr, have now decided to put out a new trailer for its forthcoming project, Twin Mirror. Billed as a psychological thriller, Bandai Namco will be publishing the title, and it’s coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019. As seen in the footage below, players will take control of Twin Mirror’s protagonist, Sam, an investigative journalist returning to his hometown of Basswood, West Virginia to bury a friend....

Beetlejuice could be making his triumphant return to the silver screen thanks to none other than… Brad Pitt? “Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B has boarded Beetlejuice 2, Deadline has confirmed, bringing a new sense of life to a project that has long been in the works at Warner Bros. The sequel remains in early development, with the script yet to be written. No other attachments have been disclosed at this time....

Violence in media has always been a topic of controversy. For decades, critics have claimed that violent subject matter in everything from books, to films and video games can have a severe and long-lasting negative societal effect. Because of this, there have been many scientific studies into the effects of media violence on how society acts. Most recently, these studies have often focused specifically on video games. This could be due to the inherent interactivity of the medium of video games, or down to the much-publicized violence of video game series such as Grand Theft Auto, Mortal Kombat and Doom from the 1990s onward....

It’s looking like the roster for Marvel’s Avengers from Square Enix will be launching with 5 playable characters. The characters in question are the roster of original Avengers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe which includes Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, and Hulk. Hank Pym aka Ant-Man was teased at the end of the reveal which means he’ll likely be the first post-launch Avengers, but Hawkeye has also been teased through E3 interviews....

Players who are making their way through Mass Effect 2 might notice a cool detail regarding Pluto- its texture has been changed to match 2015’s New Horizons pictures. The update was posted on the Mass Effect Reddit by Redditor Kunven, who noticed that the planet has had its look updated. Pluto has had a long history with the Mass Effect series that correlates to how it’s been treated in real life....

Even with all of the controversy surrounding Konami and developer, Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain had a great showing at E3 2015. The game released a brand new trailer, teasing longtime fans over some interesting lore tidbits which may be in the game, along with releasing some new gameplay showing off multiple ways to complete a mission. Surprisingly, the long gameplay demo didn’t satisfy everyone however, as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the latest game to spark a visual downgrade controversy among fans....

Microsoft Flight Simulator is so pushing the envelope so hard that no current-generation CPU can run the game at 60fps on High quality. Yes, you read that correctly: nobody has seen the full potential of Flight Simulator due to hardware limitations. All Minecrafters know that hostile mobs are a pain to deal with.
