Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 4 is quickly coming to a close which means players who haven’t completed their battle pass should be grinding away before the upcoming deadline. Luckily for players who haven’t reached level 100 yet, Activision is having a huge Double XP weekend to help players catch up before the battle pass rewards are gone for good. Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare kicked off weeks ago and introduced a few new guns in the battle pass as well as a fan-favorite character from the Modern Warfare series....

Alongside the recent announcement of a release date for NEO: The World Ends With You, Square Enix also revealed an exclusive limited edition for Japan. Thankfully, some of that merch will be coming to the rest of the world through a merch set. The merch set has popped up on the Square Enix online store after the game was made available for pre-order and will cost around $89.99. The merchandise set features three main items, a Mr Mew hanging pouch, a cassette-styled pin set and a bad adorned with a record design and the phrase “greetings sheeple of Shibuya”....

The Jason Bourne series might be on track for a sixth installment. The franchise’s producer, Frank Marshall, recently expressed interest in producing a new movie for the super-spy series and even revealed that he was already taking steps to make it happen. Frank revealed this new information in an interview with Collider. The two were discussing Marshall’s work on the upcoming fifth Indiana Jones movie before the talk shifted over to Jason Bourne....

The 2020 Tokyo Game Show continued today, and as promised, Square Enix participated and talked about Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, one of its upcoming projects. Most of the information revealed touched on things the public already knew, but there was one announcement that stood out. Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will be getting a playable demo soon. The announcement for the exact date of the demo’s release will happen later, but it does have a mid-October release window....

Square Enix recently made Kairi the main focus of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, a decision that pleased a number of fans who had been hoping to see more of this character. However, while Kairi shines while the player controls her, the story couldn’t seem to help but pull what was likely expected to be some last minute fan service to steal the victory from under her. There will be MAJOR SPOILERS for the ending of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory going forward, especially pertaining to the ending cutscenes that take place after the rest of the game’s major recap....

A little eagle hawk told me that a tabletop RPG based on Nickelodeon’s Avatar universe is on the way. But don’t start practicing your “Flameo, Hotman” yet–the Core Book is slated for a February 2022 release. It’s still an exciting announcement, as the Avatar world is prime for TTRPG adventures with its rich history, layered villains, and memorable character archetypes with fun skills. For me, however, the truly exciting announcement is what comes after the Core Book release....

Lady Dimitrescu and the rest of the Village villains have now been turned into sock puppets as part of a new promotional video on Resident Evil’s Japanese YouTube page. The video shows Resident Evil Village’s four main antagonists singing, dancing and wanting to paint before it pulls a Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared and gets a little bit darker. Lady Dimitrescu starts drinking blood, Moreau falls on a chainsaw and spurts blood, and Heisenberg ends up getting an axe to the head....

Normally, whenever a new character is about to be added to League of Legends’ impressive roster, there’s at least some official buildup beforehand. That wasn’t the case with League’s newest Champion, Samira, who suddenly appeared in the game’s Public Beta Environment this weekend. Now that she’s there, though, Riot Games has given fans an official overview of her abilities. Known as the Desert Rose, Samira is described as “a boss with a blade and a master of gun fu,” specializing in both melee and ranged attacks....

After an extra month of waiting, we’re finally at the fireworks factory that is Marvel’s Loki. Nintendo continues to ramp up production of games on mobile, especially with previously announced partnerships with mobile developers like DeNA and Cygames. Its latest mobile title, Mario Kart Tour is currently in beta for a select few but has started to give players a few clues as to what the final product could be. Following the heavily monetized releases of Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, it appears that the upcoming Mario Kart mobile title may be following down a similar path....

The idea of exploring game worlds in virtual reality has been depicted in sci-fi films and books for years now, so it should come as no surprise that so much interest has been directed towards Oculus Rift, the crowd-funded VR gaming headset that’s at the forefront of virtual reality gaming technology. It’s been a big week for fans of Marvel’s Avengers. Although no new content dropped, a ton of details about the next major Operational were revealed in the Deep Dive for Clint’s Hawkeye. The new content is still a month away, which means players are continuing the usual weekly grind at this point. More details will be revealed about Marvel’s Avengers next DLC in February, as well as an update on the delayed next-gen versions of the game. Crystal Dynamics has revealed when exactly players of Marvel’s Avengers can expect to hear more information on the game’s next installment. A War Table on February 16, 2021, will detail part two of the Hawkeye DLC which started via Kate Bishop’s Taking AIM. Bishop’s addition, which came via Avengers’ first DLC, happened in December of last year after a two-month delay....
