Fantastic Four was a troubled production. Of this there is little doubt with director Josh Trank exiting the project, and 20th Century Fox commissioning apparently extensive reshoots. The negative buzz and worse reviews these events generated resulted in the film flopping at the box office. Yet it’s the reports that came later of a toxic work environment, including with how Kate Mara was allegedly treated by Trank, that has most tarnished Fantastic Four’s reputation....

Beginning on April Fools’ Day, April 1, 2012, Kaz Hirai, formerly Sony’s Executive Deputy President, will be the big head honcho of Sony. Hirai will be the new President of Sony, replacing Sir Howard Stringer. Later this year in June, Stringer will also become the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sony. Kaz Hirai has been somewhat of a more public face for Sony, making big headlines recently by suggesting the PlayStation 4 will still require physical media to play games and that there would be no formal announcements regarding PlayStation 4 at E3 2012....

Rhythm games are one of the highest points in this medium’s slow crawl towards maturity. The best rhythm games encapsulate everything that makes interactive entertainment special, offering up a unique synthesis of sound, visuals, and inputs that cannot be replicated outside of gaming. KH3 is no exception, providing a ton of new reasons to revisit old worlds, continue leveling up, and motivating you to reach 100% completion. Fans have long awaited the return of the Baldur’s Gate franchise and just this week, after 20 years since Baldur’s Gate 2 first released, the next numbered entry is finally available. Baldur’s Gate 3 launched this week to a very positive reception from both fans and critics heralding the return of the beloved franchise. According to developer Larian Studios, that praise has also been met with some big sales. It is two days since Baldur’s Gate 3 released in early access, but the unfinished state of the game has not deterred interest in the RPG....

A leaked image suggests that a 200-player mode is coming to Warzone in both Battle Royale and Plunder modes. Although the ‘official’ definition of a battle royale game is 100 players doing battle until one remains, different games have applied their own spin to the genre. Whether that be pairing players up into duos, trios, and more, or toying with the number of people allowed to compete in each round....

One of the more interesting toy-related brands currently thriving on the marketplace is LEGO, as the company has been able to maintain interest across mediums with physical playsets, video games, and an incredibly successful animated movie. Given the success of the plastic brick manufacturer, it’s not surprising to see major businesses lining up to LEGO-ify their various IP – with Angry Birds now being the latest. Rovio has officially announced that it has struck a deal with The LEGO Group, and now consumers can anticipate sets based off of Angry Birds in the near future....

Mercedes used CES 2023 to announce that it will be launching a new network of high-powered fast-charging hubs around the world starting very soon. The rollout will apparently begin in North America, which is no real surprise, but will follow in Europe and China soon, according to its announcement. The charging hubs will be clearly branded as Mercedes-Benz but will be open to all electric car brands, which is definitely the right starting point from drivers’ point of view....
