This article consists of nothing but Justice League spoilers. The Justice League movie certainly leaves the DC Extended Universe in a different place than it found it. Aside from doing its best to restore a sense of hope and optimism to the DCEU, and the obvious implications of Superman’s return, it hints at a landscape that should feel more familiar to DC Comics fans overall. The weird alien kudzu that was spreading throughout the eastern European country that Steppenwolf was terrorizing instead blooms into beautiful alien flowers....

Lauriam still can’t find what he’s looking for. He mentioned that he was searching for something back when all the new Union leaders first met and that this endeavor was the reason he was so late in joining them. Quite a bit of time has passed since then, and Lauriam’s still on the hunt for whatever it was that kept him that day. Luckily, maybe even unfortunately, he’s about to stumble on his first real lead....

I’ve previously talked about Knockout City’s excellent gameplay mechanics and how they work so well because of the mind-games they result in. Now that I’ve hit rank 60 (someone, please help me), all of that rings even truer than before. Mechanically Knockout City is nearly flawless, but there’s one big stain on them that needs to be tweaked - the insta-kill friend throw. That’s not the official name for it, for the record, but it’s pretty apt considering how it works....

A couple of weeks ago, Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which quickly garnered mostly positive reviews from fans and critics. The studio also made it easier for players to transition between the current to next-generation consoles, given that those who own the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be able to upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X at no additional cost. Unfortunately, it appears that some players were hesitant to make the upgrade, given that some encountered an issue with the game’s trophy system....

The female variation on the game’s protagonist has seen much praise, owing much to the voice acting of Jennifer Hale. The Final Fantasy series has featured some wonderful protagonists over the years, but there are two who perhaps don’t always get the recognition they deserve. Lightning and Serah Farron each serves as the main protagonist at various points throughout the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy and while the games in which they feature can sometimes be a little lackluster in their delivery, their female leads are usually on point. What makes these two siblings so well suited to their roles is actually how different they are from one another....

Marvel made a wise decision in making Black Panther the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The cultural emphasis surrounding this diverse film shouldn’t be taken lightly. Marvel’s Avengers is a product of a strange time in the history of Marvel Comics, as it clearly uses the Inhumans as a stand-in for the mutants from the X-Men - something Marvel was trying to float in the days before the Disney/Fox deal.
