At this point, however, the existence of a third sequel in the sci-fi first-person shooter franchise has become a veritable punchline on message boards. With Half-Life 2 being the last main entry so far, Gordon Freeman’s tale still remains unfinished, and it’s unlikely that we’ll get to experience a continuation of it any time soon....

After weeks of rumors, leaks, and speculation, Traveller’s Tales finally announced LEGO DC Super-Villains, the latest entry in the very long-running LEGO franchise where players use a huge roster of licensed characters to smash objects and collect studs. Whereas most games in the series focus on heroes, this one features villains from the DC Universe, including a custom baddie that players can design from the ground-up. While LEGO DC Super-Villains makes virtually no effort to evolve the established LEGO games formula, it does at least one thing different, and that is put new focus on the player-created custom character....

Square Enix and Sony are now able to confirm that the limited edition Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro will be available alongside the launch of the highly anticipated RPG. Kingdom Hearts 3, the long-awaited continuation of the RPG mashup featuring characters from both Disney’s films and television series and Square Enix’s library of games, launches on January 29 in 2019. And now players looking to celebrate its launch with a special purchase will have that option in the Kingdom Hearts 3 PlayStation 4 Pro limited edition....

Godzilla is headed to the small screen with a TV show coming to Apple TV+ in the future. “The MCU is definitely king when it comes to cinematic universes, but Legendary’s Monsterverse isn’t doing too shabby. Between 2014’s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, the franchise has raked in almost $2 billion globally. And now it’s expanding with a streaming series on Apple TV+....

Little Nightmares 2 is unveiling a creepy, atmospheric trailer just days before its official launch. The game serves as a direct sequel to 2017’s Little Nightmares. Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios’ original puzzle-platformer horror adventure game was met with widespread acclaim, with many praising the game’s challenging puzzles, terrifying characters, and art style. Hype for the sequel has been steadily building in the four years since, with Little Nightmares 2 being the first of the most anticipated horror games of 2021....

Director, writer and producer James Wan is perhaps the most commercially successful and influential voice in horror filmmaking in the 21st century. His relatively small output of moderately priced yet undeniably effective movies, such as Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring, have launched or reinvigorated subgenres of their own, with the latter even spawning an entire cinematic universe. The Peach vs Daisy Tour is scheduled to go live on February 9 at 10pm ET in Mario Kart Tour. This will see the introduction of another Team Rally event, with Team Peach facing off against Team Daisy. A reveal trailer for the tour didn’t provide many details for the upcoming event, but it did reveal which team each racer in the game belongs to. Join a race as any variant of Peach, Mario, or Yoshi and you’ll be riding for Team Peach....

Nintendo has yet to take the leap with VR headsets in this current generation of consoles. This hasn’t stopped other companies from doing so for them, however, as an arcade in Japan is about to open up its new Mario Kart virtual reality game. The VR Zone is an arcade that is based in Shinjuku, Japan. They have recently released a trailer which shows off some of the games and attractions that will be opening up soon....

A Crystal Dynamics dev revealed during a Twitch presentation that load screens on the PS5 version of Marvel’s Avengers are almost non-existent. It is now less than a week until Marvel’s Avengers arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Crystal Dynamics continues to reveal what exactly will be added to the game, and what its new-gen versions will usher in. One developer revealed during a Twitch stream this week that when it comes to loading times, the PS5 version of the game will render them almost non-existent....
