The Kandagawa Jet Girls racing game is officially being released in the west. The XSeed Games racing game was previously only available in Japan for PS4, but will be widening its market this summer. Kandagawa Jet Girls is an anime series about girl groups participating in a popular sporting pastime, Jet Racing. The game that followed the anime essentially makes the 64 episodes in the series playable. Racers can choose to play as one of the seven teams of two and have to do a bit more than just finish the race to win....

Hit Point Press recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for a new tabletop RPG titled Heckna!, designed for the fifth edition of the world’s most popular tabletop roleplaying game. Heckna! is set as a carnival horror campaign, is already fully funded (and then some), and has 24 days remaining on Kickstarter as of this writing. The campaign has reached its funding goal of $20,000 and has blown through to fund all but one reward tier, which, with 24 days remaining, will most likely also be reached....

Kingdom Hearts 3 features a variety of Disney worlds for Sora, Donald, and Goofy to explore, but it also has a vast, outer-space section that the gang can fly around using their Gummi Ships. The ultimate challenge when it comes to the Gummi Ship sections of Kingdom Hearts 3 is to defeat the Schwarzgeist, which is how players will unlock the special Golden Highwind Gummi Ship, the best pre-made ship in the game....

The King’s Canyon map has made a comeback in Apex Legends ranked mode. Players will be revisiting the map for the second split of Season 4 before the next season starts on May 5. It was the original map that started Season 1 but received updates in Season 2. The Cascades were destroyed, letting the Leviathans come in and cause widespread damage. New areas like Containment, The Cage, and The Singh Labs were also added to the Season 2 update....

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and The Secret Fairy might not have had the most bombastic announcement due to the title being leaked, but that has not hampered fan excitement over the upcoming sequel. With only one full trailer for Atelier Ryza 2 as the winter release period inches closer, publisher Koei Tecmo is holding a contest and it felt like helping out entrants. The American branch of the publisher shared on Twitter the announcement of the second Atelier Ryza fanart and cosplay contest....

After hitting the big screen and HBO Max as Cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984, Kristen Wiig returns to her comedy roots for Barb And Star Go To Vista Del Mar. Wiig reteams with her Bridesmaids co-writer Annie Mumulo for the new movie. Mumulo stars as the titular Barb while Wiig stars as her best friend Star. Both women also co-wrote the script. The trailer takes an interesting approach to highlighting the movie, opting not to show the faces of Wiig and Mumulo in their entirety....

JRPG fans should be quaking in their little boots, as Square Enix has added very hard and “No Future” difficulties to Trials of Mana. Nintendo Soup found some translated patch notes that include details on the new difficulty. For the “No Future” mode, the player has to tackle: Enemies that are tougher, including bosses. The “New Game+” mode returns the player to Level 1. A few abilities that would otherwise help you on your adventure can’t be equipped....

Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 Episode 8 David Ramsey, who played John Diggle for eight seasons on Arrow, is making the rounds on the current slate of DC TV shows both in front of and behind the camera. Diggle made his first post-Arrow appearance in Gotham City, in Batwoman, season 2 episode 16, “Rebirth.” But on the latest episode of Legends of Tomorrow, “Stressed Western,” Ramsey steps into the boots of famed Marshall Bass Reeves, and has a run-in with the Legends in the Old West....

Fans of Tarsier Studio’s tiny haunting world will delight in a chance to play Little Nightmares 2. The demo is now available to play on Xbox One and PS4, accompanying the earlier release of the demo on Steam last month. The demo will give Little Nightmares console fans a good month of play before the game’s full release on February 11. Tarsier Studios stated last month that pre-orders were now available on Steam, with the option to pre-order the game’s deluxe edition....

A week later, LittleBigPlanet’s servers are still offline. While Sony has since thanked fans for their patience while it looks into the issue, there’s no sign of the servers being reinstated anytime soon, leaving Sackboy fans around the world saddened. The LittleBigPlanet series started in 2008 with its first installment, and its most recent main-series release was back in 2014 with LittleBigPlanet 3. However, Sony rejuvenated love for the award-winning series last year with Sackboy: A Big Adventure....

In the wake of the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, calls continue to come out for more and more companies to cut ties with President Donald Trump. After several social media sites, including Twitter and Facebook suspended the President’s accounts, other companies and businesses have either taken initiative or faced calls to cut ties with Trump’s brand and existing deals, including some of his more innocuous appearances in old media, such as his cameo in Home Alone 2....

On the whole, Minecraft has been a force for good over the past few years, giving kids another way to socialize with one another, and even contributing to their education. However, over the weekend, the franchise was linked to an armed robbery in the state of Pennsylvania. As the story goes, a man dressed in a licensed Minecraft costume robbed a Turkey Hill convenience store in the borough of Ephrata. He pulled a gun on the cashier, before stealing several cartons of cigarettes and a handful of cash just before 9PM on Saturday night....

Before Disney incorporated Marvel’s TV offerings into the Marvel Cinematic Universe umbrella, Marvel storytelling on television was a fascinating mixed bag. Marvel shows existed siloed off in their own continuities and on different networks like Agents of SHIELD on ABC, Runaways on Hulu, and Daredevil and all his Defender friends on Netflix. Right before the Marvel Television imprint was shuttered in favor of Marvel Entertainment, however, we very nearly got one last creative swing....

One of the more unusual projects currently in development at Marvel is Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. featuring the big-faced villain in an animated series set to launch on Hulu. During a recent set of interview for the comedy show AP Bio, Patton Oswalt, who will be voicing M.O.D.O.K., confirmed that the release date is coming up fairly soon. According to the star, the show’s first season is on track to debut early next year....
